I was honestly a little skeptical of a Thai restaurant in Grand Forks, North Dakota, but they challenged and showed up all of my assumptions. The food was delicious and flavorful—and right on par with the quality of Thai food I have experienced in major cities across the country.I am generally quite particular about Pad Khing (Ginger Chicken) when I order it. I was not disappointed here at all!Don’t be fooled by this place’s unassuming exterior. Go in, sit down, order, and enjoy!!

It was the better Thai resto in GF but appears to have gone out of business. Visited on Saturday 1 April 2023 at 5:30 PM (their posted hours on FB say they open at 4:30 pm). The door was locked, no one answered their phone and upon peaking in we saw that the dining tables had been removed.

I ate here two years ago and I still think about how good it was! I’ve been to Thailand and this place makes better food than they do. I eat here every time I come into to town.

My expectations were too high based on a glowing recommendation from a local. I thought the food was OK but nothing special. I wouldn't rush back.

literally THE BEST fried rice around.

This place should be on Kitchen Nightmares. It's the saddest, most low effort restaurant food I've ever eaten. It's painfully obvious that the ingredients are from the grocery store across the street. Like dishes that have potato as an ingredient have crinkle cut fries in them. Dishes with chicken never have it cut up, and the ramen was basically water with noodles and a few small chunks of what I assume were chicken. I tried the House Ramen, Massaman Curry, and Orange Chicken over the course of a few weeks. All 3 were disappointing. If this restaurant were in a bigger city it would have gone out of business by now. Staff was nice and friendly, but good staff can't make up for the atrocious food.

Delicious food and great service! I ordered the Red River Roll, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite dishes I've ever had at a restaurant.

If I could give no stars I would. My niece had ordered a meal that had a grilled chicken breast and the chicken was completely raw on the inside when we went to cut it up for her. We asked for an order of pad Thai in place of the raw meal and never received the pad thai. We also had ordered 2 sushi rolls as appetizers and only received one, which came after our meals were already delivered and never received the second one, yet we were charged for both. My husband had ordered the Thai Hot fried rice as it was supposed to be spicy and he said it was basically fried rice with soy sauce-no spice at all. Service was slow but the raw chicken was completely unacceptable and we were all just hoping none of us would get sick from the food we did eat

Cozy place but the Thai food is a joke. Maybe the sushi is great and that's why the refried are so good. Tastes okay but that wasn't curry it was a whole chicken breast sitting in curry sauce with raw vegetables

Always have great service and their food has amazing flavor! Pictured here is the Firecracker sushi roll, chicken red curry and the pineapple fried rice. I’m used to my curry served in a bowl more as a soup but it was good this way too. Flavor was on point! I appreciated that the veggies were more al dente then soggy mush. The pineapple fried rice is an absolute must try! So many delicious flavors to it!!! I have previously tried the drunken noodle and their hot sauce, super amazing too! It is nice and clean in there with absolutely amazing service! I prefer to go for dine in vs take out because in previous times I felt the portions were larger for dine in. Not sure if that is still current or not but thought it was worth mentioning. Whenever I’m in there though, there are lots of take out orders still so maybe this had changed. This is a must try forsure! Top notch service and fresh flavorful food!

I'm not someone that rates food on the internet, but my take-out order was deeply disappointing. The chicken satay was dry and hard to chew. The use of both "kai" and "gai" for "chicken" in the recipe names is odd, but whatever. What really got me was the massaman curry. It was a uncut chicken breast with essentially no sauce, some peanuts sprinkled on, and the potatoes were...french fries (I think?). The solid chunk of chicken looks like it was cooked in a skillet and was certainly not cooked as cut pieces in the curry sauce. The inclusion of chopsticks with the meal made me wonder exactly how one would eat an entire chicken breast with them. Stab it and eat it around the edges? All the vegetables were cut into long sections, intact cherry tomatoes were in the dish (weird, but ok I guess), and the carrots were raw. This was literally the worst curry I have ever eaten.

Pad Thai hot! Which I loved! Got edamame instead of spring rolls and called in to correct order and they did me right! 100% awesome and can’t wait to go date myself one night in restaurant. - this was a door dash order

My daughter and I stopped here on the way back from Winnipeg. My expectations of sushi in ND were not particularly high, but it was really good and so was my soup. The ambiance is much better than I would have anticipated from the outside. If in Grand Forks, would definitely go here again.

So many food choices. Love the pad thai and the thaihot fried rice.

Flavors were fantastic, heat level was perfect, staff was very friendly, drunken noodles were wonderful, and they got out our food super fast but there were a couple issues. The calamari appetizer was small, and not super crispy, as seen in the photo. For 8 bucks its a little small. The only other issue was both our dishes included baby carrots that were pretty much completely raw. I would definitely still return, the flavors were on point in both the Drunken Noodles and the Chile and Basil.
