I understand your busy but kicking trash cans because of it and giving attitude to customers isn’t the way to approach

Hard to find a good place to eat between the Bismarck and Mandan area . I say that to say this place is very good food made fresh , taste well . Miles has great customer service, very welcoming. I’ve had 3 different sandwiches so far and all 3 Delicious.

Great subs but way way lacking on the meat ounces .. from when they first opened. If u order a Philly cheese steak sandwich , there is barely any meat in it .. pretty sad . Oh and the fact they want to tip u right at ordering ... pretty tasteless... how about , give us the experience first , then we can decide how we are gonna tip , as a consumer , " consume" being the main idea.

Just ordered online delivery and was definitely disappointed. The online kids menu pictures should be edited without fries and just the three measly chicken strips, it’s disappointing to pay $6 thinking it’s strips and fries, and it shows up as just 2 1/2 chicken strips, not even enough to fill a child’s belly. Paid for a giant sized fries, but might as well have ordered a small as it would’ve been the same amount. Ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch, and the bacon was not cooked at all.. Just an all around bad experience. Never have had issues with the Bismarck store, so the Mandan one must be lacking quality workers.

This past week we ventured to Grand Junction for lunch. It came highly recommended and a sub sounded great. Their menu was a bit more focused than many sub shops but I took it to mean they know each of those subs inside and out, although none were really speaking to me, until I saw The Grinder. I was instantly transported to Grand Forks and even Fargo during my college days so many years ago, and I knew I was set for lunch. The sandwich ingredients seemed odd - taco meat, ham, turkey, salami, red sauce, white sauce, lettuce, tomato, so I assumed you picked your deli meat and sauce and then they were added to the taco meat and rabbit food. When I got to the counter to order, I found out this wasn't correct, as they put EVERYTHING into this sammy. As an aside, I never did get a complete explanation of the red and white sauces but I believe they are based on sriracha and ranch, which are already sauces, so whatever... I decided I didn't want all of that so went with the turkey and taco grinder but wanted some onions added instead of the tomato, which was no problem. Let us leave this for a moment as the grinder is prepared and talk about two other "issues" that feed my two-star rating. First, my order was for the sandwich and a Coke. The counter guy asked if I wanted the combo but I declined as I don't want chips. "Oh no," he exclaimed, "we have fries AND you save 20%!" He proudly exclaimed. Just let me state for the record, if one originally does not order a combo meal and then changes their mind and does order it, they have not saved 20%. Rest assured I understood that in the moment and politely pointed that out to him. I also know it wouldn't have been a thing to mention if it weren't for this second thing - their payment process. The guy rings everything up and I inserted my card into the reader and then he spun the little tablet-screen thing around for me to complete my order. We all have been there before; kind of a busy place, wanting to eat, talking to coworker, etc. so you just hit the highlighted oblong button at the bottom of the screen. I did the same, only registering a millisecond too late that it defaulted to a 20% tip. Thing three, they don't bring food to your table AND they apologized for it taking so long, so I paid a 20% tip for counter help. Now back to my sandwich. Remember when I said I only wanted turkey and taco meat? Well, apparently that didn't equate to adding more of one (or both) to make up for the lack of ham and salami, so I paid for stuff I didn't get. AND a 20% savings on a combo meal I didn't really want AND 20% tip for counter service that they even acknowledged wasn't very good. I posted a picture of my empty sub, in case anyone is interested.

Ordered a 12" barnyard to go. When I got home found out they made 2 sandwiches on round buns. Love the bread they use for the subs, not a sandwich bun. Very disappointed.

Came in for the 1st time and the guy who took my order was extremely nice and just presented himself well. Ordered the number 1 on the menu and after a few dollar tip by order was around 22 bucks for a little under a 12 inch sandwich and fountain drink. I was fine with the price but was expecting a little more quality and better taste for what I paid. Don't get me wrong its a solid sandwich but it wasn't worth the price for me. Also I was the only guy in there eating and all the tables had trash on them except for 1 that had a dirty mop bucket with a mop in there right next to the table. I sat there but kind of didn't make for the best setting. I like the cookie the size of your face advertising ?? that's good advertising and I was so tempted to buy one even though I'm not big on sweets. Overall I give it a 3.6 out of 5 stars but will round it to 4. Didn't impress me enough to Probably ever come back but not disappointed I tried it out.

Called in my order yesterday and whoever I talked to was super polite. I got the philly and cajun fries. Had some special requests and they got them all correct. Whomever was working till when I came in to pick up was super polite and attentive. They were just finishing up my order when I got there. Everything was super hot (temp wise). You could tell my fries were freshly fried and not sitting in a warming tray. The sandwich bread is so good and such a generous portion of the meat and toppings. They for sure deserve the title of best sub/sandwich in the area.

We ordered the team lunch from Grand Junction (16 sandwiches) this week. All the sandwiches were delicious and the order was ready right on time. The cookies, and they are large, were enjoyed down to the last crumbs.

Love your sandwiches and cookies! Thanks for keeping the shop fed!

I have to say every time I eat at Grand Junction the subs are awesome. I wasn't as excited about the fries, but they were still ok.
