When they say Charlie's is the best in town --- they aren't exaggerating. Small town vibes and a lot of happy energy here! Their breakfast is always my go-to.

While their call to fame is their hot beef sandwich, I have yet to try it & it isn't really a dish I'm anxious to order. Today's run was only for a caramel roll. It was good & the price was reasonable. Service was decent, but, again, it was just a quick one item run. The general feel is greasy spoon side-of-the-road diner from the good ole days. I wouldn't go in expecting gourmet so much as nostalgia.

Been frequently visiting Charlie’s for awhile now. The food is excellent the staff is great! Best breakfast spot in town and it’s not even close! Make sure you get in early to get a caramel roll! ?
Please save yourself the trouble. The food is awful, it was barely warm and the utensils/plates were dirty. The servers are very nice but the experience in general was 1/10.

I’ve probably had a worse meal, although I wouldn’t be able to tell you when. I shouldn’t be surprised. When you still brag about an award for a single menu item from seven years ago. Food was trash, service wasn’t any better. Would not recommend. Photo is of a “melt”. Half a since of craft cheddar cheese and half a slice of Swiss. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

We came here last time we were in Minot. We made sure to come back. Both of us had chicken fried steak and were beyond happy with our choices. Even their simple cup of coffee was delicious. Coffee is what it is, but when it's really good, bonus. We will definitely be back next time we visit Minot.Kid-friendliness: There were several children in Charlie's. Highchairs are available.
