Seems to be a hang out for the Boomers. Didn't realize you have to order hash browns with your omelet separately. Coffee is good.

Sub-par food waited for 30 minutes to get set down and there was alot of open tables like 3/4 of them there were people trying to pay there bill the same amount of time and there was about 6 waitresses walking back and forth and didn't even acknowledge that people were trying to check-in and out finally I took a walk and stopped one to ask them if we were invisible after that they were going to seat us and I told them to check the three groups of elders out first like I said the food is not good and the service sucks.

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. I absolutely love this place. It's cozy and inviting, and beautifully decorated. The food is fantastic and the staff is very nice. Everything in the salad bar was fresh and delicious, and my fried cod was the best! My new favorite place in North Dakota.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu.

First time going here from Texas for breakfast while visiting family stationed here. Was not impressed with what my wife and I ordered (French toast Breakfast) & (Biscuits and gravy breakfast). French toast had no flavor other than the syrup poured on it. The eggs that were served with both breakfast had no salt or pepper. The biscuits and gravy I had ordered the biscuits were undercooked and the gravy was watery and cold. The sausage was very chunky and there was no flavor. Needed pepper for sure. My son in laws and daughters were good they said (Denver skillet & ham & cheese skillet). If you’re looking for any kind of southern food or breakfast i would definitely not recommend this state for it. I guess us southerners are just use to flavor and seasoning and hospitality, that being not staring at folks.

Fantastic local restaurant that goes above and beyond to support the Minot community. If there is a wait to get in it is worth it. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent.

Had a wonderful dining experience at HOMESTEADERS RESTAURANT. The waitress and staff were wonder and kind. I got the blackened salmon dinner with the unlimited salad bar and tasted wonderful. The prices on their menu have been updated than their online menu shows. However, the prices are very reasonably priced.

Quick breakfast on a Saturday while in town. Food came out good timing from the place of the order. Seemed under staffed but those that were working was really doing their jobs. I had the homesteaders that came with 2 big fluffy pancakes along with 1 egg, i added 2 more, and 2 strips of bacon. Clean food wholesome and came out hot. Atmosphere seem pretty kool, plenty of people coming in and eating there. Prices were fair for the most part. Place could use some renovations but it was kool.

Vintage and traditional Midwest restaurant that has established since who knows when. The food is very traditional American cuisine. Sandwiches are ok, tomato soup has chunks of tomatoes in a very milky broth . Interesting taste. Their salad bar has cherry salad, pasta salad, potato salad, etc.Just a very cute vintage space. The younger staff is super friendly and easy to chat. It's a fun place to experience old school food

Biscuit was old and fell apart. Hashbrowns no flavour.Bathrooms disgusting - the men in our group said urine all over the floor, cabinets and urinals. Female bathroom stunk of urine also.

A good place to grab some good food at a good price. Everything came out super fast and was delicious. The waitress was on the grumpy side and rushed us to order. I would go back but hope that the staff is better next time.
