Out of the 5 people at our table, 2 of us were disappointed with our food, and the others said it was just okay. I ordered the steak & peppers skillet for $16.79, which had a photo on the menu. I received about a quarter of what the photo showed, which was exactly 5 bites of steak, 2 mushroom slices, a few peppers and potatoes and a lot of gravy. (I wish I had thought to photograph it.) The other was the chicken tender sandwich that had 2 small tenders cut in half across the sandwich and nothing but bread everywhere else. Comfortable, clean restaurant though.

I'm not gonna lie, I miss the 1980's Perkins. From the stained glass light fixtures, the salad bars and the darkly stained wood furnishings, I grew up around Perkins.I haven't been to a Perkins in a very long time. We're talking 20-25 years. I visited the Minot location to find a drab, plain looking restaurant with a medium selection of food.The food was prepared well and very flavorful, but the menu has seemed to lose its charm that it once had. Seems really industrial... Nothing like it was.

Deciding to stop for lunch. My friend wanted to go to Perkins, which was fine with me. Got seated and had "Sam" as our waitress. Couldn't be more please. Sam is so awesome. Had a great hamburger and fries. Sam kept our drinks full. Sam section was busy but she handled every table just fine. We like stopping on that side of the road. Lol. Thank you, manager, for a wonderful employee.Parking: Could use more more handicap spots

New manager has recently made some changes for the worse here. Been coming here for years with the family but won't be coming anymore. Things as simple as you are not allowed to substitute items on your meal anymore, but they can definitely add it for an extra costs. I.e hardy man's breakfast we requests toast instead of pancakes(which toast is easier then making pancakes). They wouldn't do it but tried to add the toast at an extra costs. Slimy business practice. New policy's are the wrong policy's

My mom ordered a sandwich and requested the bacon be taken off and cheese and pickles put on. The waitress said they could do that and appeared to have written it all down. When the sandwich came there was still bacon on it and no pickles or cheese were put on it. After our food we ordered dessert, I got an apple pie and my mom got pumpkin. I asked for mine to be heated up and come with ice cream and my mom just wanted hers plain and cold. When they brought us our pies the ice cream was on her plate with her pie and my pie wasn't heated up.

Stood at the front for ten minutes, while 15 people ambled up to pay. Finally were told we were going on a list for a table. Could see 4 empty tables. Not impressed. Then when we decided to go he said “sorry to inconvenience you “ in a very smug tone.
