“So the famous Bohemian Cafe in Omaha shut down a few years ago. Run into the ground by the children of the original founders. So along with me, and a couple friends and family, we made the 2-hour drive from Omaha into Abie's place to get a little little taste of Czechoslovakian authenticity. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing. The service from Mary and her staff was off the chart great. The back and forth banter with the entire staff was hilarious, and by no means interfered with the dining experience. We shared photos of our kids, along with a few fun stories about life the universe and everything. There is nothing bad I can say about this establishment. I was at first skeptical about the 4-Hour round trip commitment. But it was totally worth it. If you're hungry, go there right now. Last thing: kolaches. I'm not a big dessert guy, And mixing fruit and pastry is definitely not my thing. But Abie's does them in a way that makes me a convert.“

“Went there on a Saturday night. Not to busy which was nice. Didn’t feel like prime so I got chicken fry and Jej got steak and shrimp. And a margarita which was pretty good for $5. Our whole bill was $50. Nice. The food was good especially jej’s shrimp. Service quick and asked more than a few times if we were all good.“
