“It's a very nice place along hwy 30. The owner is very kind. Clean place. I've had the Bacon, egg, cheese on toasted bread. It was delicious and I will buy it again. She also has gas and is competitive with Pump and Pantries and Casey's.”

“Good, smaller sized coffee shop. They have a line of booths, with lots of plugs to charge your electronics. There's a corner with some coustioned chairs, but no plugs there. My latte was very good. The woman who took my order was nice.”

“I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile, and a quuck sit where ever you want. At 9:00ish the cafe was buisy but still had room. I ordered a chicken fried steak, eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. Very quick service. The waitresses were hopping. The cook was in the kitchen singing along to the radio, or his playlist. He was enjoying his day at work to its fullest. “I am from out of state, and I stopped in on Tuesday evening 1/16/24 for some frozen yogurt. The yogurt was delicious. I ended up with popcorn too. Lots of flavors to choose from!! The young lady who helped me was very helpful and extremely pleasant. What a fun place to enjoy a great treat! GI is fortunate to have BRT!!”

“We got our food the pancakes and they were great, we got two main dishes. A breakfast burrito and the corned beef hash they both had hair imbedded into them one was a long blond hair and the other was a small curly beard hair, we did let our waitress know and they did compensate us for only the corned beef hash. The waitress was actually talking with us when we found the second hair in the burrito. So I'd say they don't take sanitary practices seriously.”

“Ate at Tommy's today (Thanksgiving Day) and thoroughly enjoyed their Thanksgiving "Feast" of Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato puree, stuffing, corn, and cranberry sauce. All for a very reasonable price of $15. Large portions, fast service, and soooo grateful that the owner and his whole family along with the best employees were there to feed so many people on a day where everyone else was closed. So glad that they offer a place to eat great food to those that might not have a place to go to celebrate- Tommy's is always welcome to everyone, like family! Their daily menu (breakfast all day!) is great too!”

“We were there about 1 pm on a Tuesday, lunch rush was just about over. Waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Food was good. We love their salad. Our entrees were hot and tasty.”

This place has always been my favorite spot in Grand Island for drinks and they graciously allowed my family and friends to decorate the entire place as we wanted and Katy even made a special menu of drinks for the party. “Great Pizza and cinnamon rolls. Who ever is in charge of making dough has the secret whipped! Too bad not currently a sit down location but order only at a window, order ahead so the wait is not factored in. Our wait was pretty long but they kindly gave us a dozen delicious home made cookies for free! Worth the drive to get to this small town gem!”

“Fantastic detour off I80. I believe the owner makes a lot of her own baked goods. I had a scone that was to die for. My sister complained about drinks being too sweet but I think it's a Nebraska taste. Just ask for less sweet if you don't like that. Everything is very cute in the decor and the service by the owner is efficient and friendly. Support a local business and see something off the interstate.”
