We walked, and it was a nice place. We were going to have to wait to be seated. We were given glasses of water and menus to look at. The prices were extremely expensive for a place in Beatrice. Maybe for a special occasion or maybe for those who have the money to spend but for a family of 5 who just wanted good food at a good price. It was WAY out of our league, so we left. We could drive to Lincoln and get a good steak meal for all of us and it still would've been cheaper. Maybe, think that NOT everyone can pay those prices. And by the looks of it you can't take constructive criticism too well, that shows alot to the people reading the reviews! Most places, reply with "I'm sorry you had a bad experience etc" Instead you choose to berate the people leaving the comments! DO BETTER!

Exquisite food especially seasoning and they were accomaditing to specific items cooked that wasnt even on the menu also the atmosphere is romantic plus the service is professional.

The black Crowes, an interesting place in Beatrice Nebraska more of an upscale restaurant with a separate bar to sit out, having been in both bar and booth for different times different meals I would definitely recommend the bar The brie appetizer is only half a wheel of brie with jam on the top. Serve with 6 to 8 Cristini's delicious, but not very much of it especially if you would expect the entire Brie slice. The cocktails here are the thing to rave about some of the most interesting and delicious cocktails ever The next time I went, we sat in a booth for a special event meal which nobody seem to care about was our special event. You're serve the wrong entrées then, by the time we got our entrées, they were cool, it best kind of glue it like consistency, not very appetizing . No apologies from the wet stuff whatsoever.

Amazing food! Full bar with an experienced bartender. Unique atmosphere with awesome 40's-50's vibe. The owner is very pleasant and interesting to talk with. Great wait staff. Will definitely visit every time we're in Beatrice.

Don’t get me wrong, the atmosphere, service and ownership is wonderful. But… I have been in the back crow twice now and each time have ordered one of their “specials”. My wife something fairly simple, but the homemade bread appears from Walmart. Wilted salad, poorly thought out dishes and overall underwhelming quality of the food has me disappointed. The menu is 2 pages too long and seems like they are trying to do too much in a mediocre way rather than master a few things.I would go back for drinks and conversation on their patio but wouldn’t eat there again.
