I've been eating Abelardos since it was Avalardos on 90th and Fort... always has been the place to eat Mexican! Tastes like the San Diego real-deal stuff...the tortillas used are some of the best. Chimichanga and the Steak Breakfast burritos are my two main homies. Abelardos is always delicious.! The staff is always nice friendly and helpful.! My suggestions are the Arizona burrito and the steak nachos.! Also if you are looking for a cheap delicious deal on tuesdays they have 5 for $5.00 tacos.!

I usually like this place & get ok service, but today just wanted some fries. I decided to get queso to dip them in & it was pretty watery. I was told when i went back it is how they make it & they'd give me another but it will be the same. No offer for a refund & a pretty hands off attitude. Ok then. Here's a review. Skip the queso unless you like watery cheese sauce. The fries were hot & good. Save the 2.99 & don't order the watery cheese sauce.
