“One of the few places that was open during the snow and cold the other day. We had wonderful food and great service while having lunch here. It was all prepared very well and did not disappoint. While the place was pretty much empty, the waitress did not stop making sure her whole restaurant looked great and ready for a full dining room while taking care of our orders and making sure to check in on us throughout our meal. We will definitely return here! The prices for the meals and drinks were not inflated. Surely priced so families can enjoy a meal here without breaking g the bank as well.“
“Went here with a couple of girlfriends after work. The staff accommodated my gluten allergy wonderfully. I really appreciate that. Our waiter was great as well. The lime margarita was delicious as well as the steak fajitas. The fajita serving size was smaller than I was expecting, however.“
“Ohh man you want the best breakfast Burritos in Omaha hell the Midwest you need to come to Abelardos. The Hashbrown Burritos is the best. This particular location was super clean like most of the others. The staff is all nice. The cook was ever serenading everyone while he was making food! Yes we're keeping it short today.Small chicken enchilada, good flavor, the Mole is a little unique, neither mean nor my wife can 100% place it..That said, it is delicious.. generous amount of shredded chicken..Chicken fried flour taco.. excellent amount of shredded chicken,Beef fried flour taco.. again generous portion of meat, excellent flavor.Fish fried four taco.. good.Mexican casserole... amazing, a touch of heat, excellent fusion of flavors...Beef burrito.. their small is large at most places, definable bigger than expected....Packed with excellently flavored beef..Funnel sticks with chocolate sauce..Perfectly done, the right amount of crisp and chew....This is a hidden gem, we highly recommend...Also, recommend our server Alyssa....“
“I loved this place. It wasn’t very busy which made me a bit uneasy but it was still early for dinner.I had three tacos, bang bang shrimp, alligator, and a ghost pepper taco. All three were good but I love my spicy food.The girl at the front made some recommendations on these tacos and she was right on all three tacos.Food was good, the place was clean and the workers were friendly.I highly recommend“

Aside from the salads they have a black bean patty for burgers, and some additional menu items offer the option to remove meat.“

“First time trying this restaurant today. I gotta say ever since Senor Matias closed many years ago I have scoured the city trying to find my new favorite enchilada. And today I HAVE FOUND IT. Their beef/chorizo enchilada meal I'd by far the best enchilada in Omaha and surrounding area (besides my kitchen). I will be returning weekly if not daily to try other menu items. Their server was great food was amazing, and there dining environment was more than comfortable. Only thing I would change is get longer straws and season the side of refried beans. Love this place.“
“This was our second visit to this location. We went on a Thursday before dinner rush. The service was good. The food was great, the only tip I have is if you have a vegetarian option (in this case we had veggie fajitas) it might be a good idea to include guacamole as part of the dinner. The dinner was plated well and my birria tacos were delicious! My husband said the fajita veggies were ok but could use some more seasoning/spice. Overall it was a good experience and I'm planning to try songwriting else next time!“
“Amazing place,my family and I showed up right as Maria’s opened, there was a line outside already.So first I want to say that I’m a little upset that this restaurant is in a place I typically wouldn’t drive by had I not been recommended by Samantha,feel like I’ve been missing out for years:)The food and staff were absolutely amazing. I ordered a plate (#2)that was actually 2 plates that consisted of a taco,tamale,enchilada,tostada and rice /beans ,for $17 if I remember correctly. The amount of food….i can typically put a lot down and I needed a “to go “box for the tamale(was great the next day).My wife ordered the 2 enchiladas plate,the kiddos both ordered chicken quesadillas .I think we all know how the majority of restaurants seem to throw a little more lettuce or rice with a meal to make up for the lack of meat,I completely understand with the cost of things, but not here,it was loaded with meat,the price and quality were honestly like old school meals and prices for lack of better words!The environment was great,they asked if we wanted to sit on the”heated patio”,my wife is cold in most restaurants so I thought “oh man,is it really heated? “… they have radiant heat across the entire patio and I am pretty sure it was warmer than the inside! I could go on and on but as a person that typically hates reviews due to the fact I think some people just don’t get out to eat much,I felt like it was worth recommending that everyone that likes good food and good people try this place,i 100 percent guarantee you will not be disappointed! “Easy going place to enjoy with friends. More Tex Mex but really great flavors. Chilis grown on site. Friendly service. Work hard to please. Don’t forget the margaritas, ole’!Drive thru decreases the parking but we made it work. A favorite.“
