This is probably about the 5th time I came to this one and I believe I'm done with them. So I got my food to go and noticed my request for a large vanilla ice coffee, and no ice, is sitting in a small coffee cup container with ice. So I told the cashier that I requested a large and no ice. Tell me why the food runner goes and puts it in their Pepsi large cup and just removes the ice. So I got this large cup that is only half filled. I'm like okay, what is it supposed to be because the previous times I've asked for it, the food runner gave me the same large cup filled all the way up. Was told that it was supposed to be in the small cup.It is ridiculous to charge $4.59 (or whatever it is that is close to $5) for a small cup when it's filled half way with ice. A little aggravated because when I came the two previous times I was in my military uniform, so is that why I was given a large cup?! Not causing a scene, I just took it as is. Then when I got to my car, I checked my food to notice I was missing my sausage links. I went back in and told the cashier. She asked if I wanted a slice of pie and anything to be compensated for all the misunderstanding and missing food. I said no, because at that point I just wanted to eat. Just disappointed in this village inn, I rather make the extra drive to the one off Fort Crook at this point.

This restaurant is like many! Not enough help, therefore, very slow service. My husband wanted fish, which was good, however, the bread on my sandwich was burnt.

Had the French toast and there was plenty of it. The only bad thing I can say is they didn't have the strawberry syrup. It was on the menu but they don't carry it

Please ,check your receipts. I wish I could upload ours here ,but there is no option. We went in for the free pie Wednesday. We got three entrees and chose three pieces of pie, however ,when I went to check out ,the hostess charged me for one of the pieces by placing two pieces under one entree (they were all the flavors that participate in the promo). I called when I read the receipt after we left and the lady on the phone told me she will take down my info and ask her manager to call me when she is in. Well, more than two weeks and no call. I hate businesses without integrity. At least follow up and do what you say you are going to do!

This place is wonderful. The food is great, it is way better than say IHOP and any of those types of places around here. The only thing that I would have to say is that they need to work on the cleanliness of their bathrooms. The atmosphere is great. It has a good vibe to it and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their menus. They even give out their advise if you do not know what to order.I highly suggest that you go on Wednesdays because they have a deal which that when you order a main entree you get a free piece of pie. Their pies are excellent and you can't go wrong with any of the choices that you make.

Village Inn is a place that doesn't need corporate tie-ins, strange additions to the menu or food coloring to promote new dishes to appeal to the masses. It exists in its own microcosm, removed from the outside world. Mighty portions of wholesome food, attentive, friendly staff, and an atmosphere of down-home comfort give this small chain it's charm. *Also, Free Pie Wednesday (with purchase of entrée).

Waited for 20 min for service and never showed up even though there was only a handful of people eating. People next to us couldn't even get someone to bring their ticket so they could leave. Bathrooms we're disgusting. Very poor location.12/16/2023

First time at this VI. Pauline was out server. We came in and was a little grouchy. Paulines smile really pickerld up our day. She was amazing. I think she even made the food taste better with her positive attitude. You never know when your smile and positivity will brighten someone's day. Thank you Pauline.

Honestly 5 stars ? for Breakfast and pies, I gave atmosphere 2 stars ? because the entire building smelled like stale cigarettes, the ceiling is stained yellow, maybe from the cigarette smoke and there were large yellow water stains running down the main wall across from the entry way ? which kinda overwhelmed the good food, my recommendation is get your food to go!Otherwise breakfast food is delicious and the pies are a must ?
