Drove 20 miles to have supper at LJS in Columbus NE. Arrived at 5:30 PM. Outside lights were on, including at the drive up. The door was locked, sign on the door stated "Due to staffing problems we are closed." Yeah, right. Never again. Will be calling corporate in the am.

They randomly closed a hour early tonight. They've done it several times in the past and don't list the information anywhere so I finally decided to leave a review. Fix your hours if you aren't staying open until 9 regularly.

First thing the place is dirty and run down. Attitudes of the cashier is bad. She called someone at the drive thru “an idiot”. I ordered two hot dogs which took forever to get. She said had to cook them. When they finally got around to it they microwaved them. They were terrible. I didn’t eat them. I will never eat here again.

Haven't had LJS for quite some time, woke up wanting it. My family lives 45 minutes north of Columbus and we decided it sounded good. The reason I gave my four stars for the services. The service was good. Unfortunately, it was the people in line that had no clue to look at the menu board and kept asking questions. It's right there in front of you. The atmosphere was okay. The place was pretty dirty. Didn't look like the floor had been swept or mopped for quite some time. The condiment section was filthy and the tables were not wiped off. Now for the food the fries and hush puppies I couldn't believe were great but the fish and chicken was brown and you could ring the grease out of it. I'm mad at myself for not taking it back. I just know I am not going back to that location. I'll try the one in Sioux City or Omaha. Thank you!

Decent, as fast food goes. I eat here about 1x a year...
Fish and chicken are now about half the thickness and that makes them taste awful, very disappointed. We had tried them 2 months ago and thought it was time to try again but same results. We won't be going back.

This restaurant doesn't deserve the title "Fast Food" You're better off dining in for the amount of time it takes to get you 2 meals. They could probably put a drive in theater in so you at least have entertainment while waiting. We ordered an A5 and #7 waiting probably 20 minutes, listening to them throw down fries, probably the fish and chicken too. Well i know where not to go when you want to just grab a meal to take home. ????

Really upset. We came all the way from York to eat here and it said you closed at 9. We got here at 8:30 and you were already closed. Freaking ridiculous. You should probably update your times if they aren't actually your times.
