“Head Chef/Owner Anthony Kueper has set the bar high for other Omaha restaurants. His food is flavorful and unique. Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. You really can't go wrong letting Chef surprise you with his tasting menu, either.“
“My friend & I tried Alice for the first time Saturday night. I have frequented their sister bar Wicked Rabbit and was looking forward to trying Alice. The atmosphere was great and the staff was super friendly. I personally love when my drinks get set on fire because its a great show. I had the Demeter & the Planters Punch. If I had one suggestion, it would be less ice! However, the cocktails were great and I'm looking forward to going back.“
“Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and friendly staff. Stopped in on a work trip from Cincinnati and was greeted by one of the owners who was so friendly and informative. Our server, Raechel, was really helpful in helping us order. We’ll be making a trip back to Omaha just to try more of the options! It would be a great place for drinks and snacks with friends before/after an event. Definitely wish we had a location closer to us!! Hopefully they start franchising soon.“
“We went Saturday night with a group of 18. Both cooks were amazing for our groups and played off each other. My son that was with us, is allergic to shellfish. We notified them at the beginning, and they took so many extra precautions to make sure his meal was prepared safely before and away from the others. It's one of the very few restaurants that I don't have to worry. Great place & atmospheres.“
“My husband and I were having a FANTASTIC time! We loved our server (then someone who was obviously a staff member bar to watch a football game I would have gone to djs next door. We enjoy the music and the whiskey bar environment which was ruined by the football game after.“
“Westend was quite a cozy place. I found the decor with the dark/dim atmosphere to be ideal. My bartender Nicole was outstanding and knows how to craft a cocktail. I also had potstickers with 3 different dipping sauces which were tasty! Thank you for doing a great job Westend. I’ll definitely be back.Parking: Parking was adequate for the time of the evening.“
“This is the best sushi place in town. There's no other way to put it. I usually don't factor my interactions with staff into how much I enjoy a restaurant, but every single person here was very genuinely friendly. As we got carded for our drinks, we only barely mentioned that we had just moved here to Omaha. Our server and the manager came out with two flights of sake for us on the house to celebrate! And of course the sushi was the best we ever had. If you like raw fish, get the tuna tataki sashimi for absolute sure!Thank you for such a memorable evening!“
“Great little bar that specializes in craft beer. Always has a good rotating selection of local beers along with regionals. Usually has some selections on tap that you don’t see at other places around town. Also offer a selection of off sale craft beer.“
“We are driving through Omaha from out of town and happened to walk past 402 and decided to stop in for supper—it was AMAZING! The food was incredible, it seemed like everything we ordered tasted better with each bite. We tried a beer flight and the monthly sangria, and our server Kourtney was so fantastic and friendly. She made such great recommendations and we just enjoyed chatting with her throughout the evening. 11/10 dining experience, truly!“
“Just wanted some sushi cus I was a bit hungover from the previous night. Absolutely knocked it out this park this place, lion king was so good I almost shed a tear. Miso soup was great too. Definite go-to place if you’re in need of some comfort food. Only critique I’d say was that they should try and opt for more premium metallic chopsticks instead of providing wooden disposable ones. This would really lift the restaurant’s already high quality and service to another level.“
“Chips were thin, crispy, and warm! Queso was one of the best I’ve had. Chile rellenos had a delicious gravy. Birria was excellent. BlackBerry Mint margarita was stout and delicious. Kid friendly menu and atmosphere. They LOVED the ice cream bar and all the toppings!!This will definitely be a go to for us when we want some good Mexican food. Service was great, staff extremely friendly and accommodating.Kid-friendliness: Ice cream bar with different toppings!! Kids loved it!!“
“C&K has been a spot for quite a time for me. Chill, low key, wonderful service, great bartenders , keeps with the times (with a good emphasis on its past.) good local crowd and welcoming atmosphere. NEW FEATURES darts was something I definitely wanted for a while. Thank you for all y’all do!“
“Not what I expected! This is a sports bar! I had fun and I have been wanting to visit for a long time and I'm glad I did. The cocktail waitresses are so cute and they walk around to check on you often. The free popcorn machine was so awesome. My only gripe is how loud the music was.“
“My gf and I don't get to go out very often as I also work in the service industry but Roja was incredible in every sense of the word. Service was friendly and accommodating w/o being overbearing and the food was impeccable. It was cool to sit next to the tortilla press and watch the chefs work as we dined. We both rarely take our leftover food home in boxes but decided we couldn't possibly let any of this go to waste. Drinks were fairly priced and the shot of tequila halfway through the meal was perfectly presented.“
“I was told by the g/f that we have tried this restaurant before, yet I do not remember ever going here. However, I know better than to argue, so here we are. Brushi is a beautiful little hideaway at the Westridge Shopping Center, located off of N.132nd St. and W. Dodge Frontage Rd. In Omaha. It's bistro style seating along with a small bistro style menu, consisting of a lot of great food. We both started off with their "Onion Soup Normandy". A creamy onion soup with Gruyère cheese and croutons. I chose the Hamburger for my main course, which was seasoned to perfection and cooked to medium rare. I do not eat the bun so I did away with that. She had the "Potato Gnocchi" with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes in a cream sauce. Very delicious. Our waiter was very much Johnny on the spot with the water refills ( I only drink water ) and took very good care of us. The nicest touch though was when the chef came out and greeted the customers asking how their food was. That's class! We will definitely be going back and trying other items in the menu. Still on the hunt for that ever elusive bowl of amazing Pho!“
“Contrary to common thought, you can go boujee in Omaha. They’ve created an excellent list of cocktails with a pack of Bentley waiting in the stable. It’s not what you expect but all the drinks were excellent, good balance, flavor and not over shaken or stirred. They also have a decent happy hour. Strangest part was the when we walked in, it was like walking into a saloon from the 1800’s where everyone stares at you the whole time as you find a seat. Guess they don’t get many celebrities in Nebraska lol.“
“The only bad thing I can say is the serving sizes. They are TOO BIG! OMG! I had the smoked Gouda mac n cheese, and you could have fed a family of four with it. It was so good, but I could only put a dent in the bowl. And the bread pudding was the best I ever had!“
“We're originally from San Diego and I admit I can be a bit of a Mexican food snob. La Mesa has blown me away with their flavors and drinks and amazing service. They've become my favorite local Mexican restaurant. I can't rave enough about their food, margaritas, and their wonderful staff. I love trying a new dish every time I go and last night I had their Molcajete and OMG was it delicious...like I can't stress enough how amazing it was. It was perfectly spicy without being hot and the lava bowl they serve it in was stuffed with perfectly cooked shrimp, beef, chicken, and chorizo. I reluctantly let my husband try it and his first words were OH MY GOD THAT'S GOOD! Trust us on this and give it a try. It's amazing. Also, try the Pollo a la Crema. Another delicious dish that will make your taste buds very happy. Enjoy!“
“Our waitress was the best! I would love to see their happy hour change up sometime, with new items. We dine there a lot and it seems like the same old thing- Glad happy hour extended to patio, first just bar, then entire restaurant, then just bar, now bar, patio and outer movie area!“
