I was in Alto after the White Light City Film Fest, and all the food was amazing! I even just had some cheesy breadsticks that I took home as leftovers a week later, and they were still delicious. The meatballs, the pizza, Cheesecake, fried Oreos . . .and several other items were all winners. My mixed drink was equally delectable. All staff were as agreeable as old friends. I will surely stop in whenever I am in Fremont.
Great food. Super strong cocktails. Amazing service. Basic ambience, not great for intimate date nights. Maybe consider mood lighting ( candles, dim lights), vintage tomato cans, hanging garlic, more wood decor; for a more Italian feeling mood to represent the food. But overall will return for great food and drank.

so the wife and I wanted Italian for some lunch. just a snack, nothing major.. so we stopped in Altos kitchen.. and ordered the meatballs.. you get three big handmade meatballs with their house made sauce and pesto and mozzarella. it was so fantastic.. It's definitely a place to go for homemade Italian food.. I'm sure next time we come here it will be for a full meal.. so I recommend this place..

The Food is fabulous. I've had their outstanding appetizers the homemade pizza is the best I've ever had, and their pasta dishes divine - Great friendly service. I am definitely a repeat customer and always will be.
Service and food were great!!! Highly recommend!! Homemade pasta is the best! Squeezed us in at the bar which was very nice.

My husband and I decided to come in on a whim. It was a Friday night and we didn’t have a reservation but lucky for us, there was one table open.The service was fantastic and the food was outstanding. We ordered the fried mozzarella and both the marinara and pesto sauce were scrumptious. We also both ordered salads (his was the Greek and mine was the crunchy chicken) and loved them.Highly recommend! So glad to have something like this in Fremont.
