Atmosphere was GREAT! ALL employees were super friendly, personable & welcoming!!! However, unfortunately, the food was less than mediocre. We were a group of 7. We received our dinner salad and immediately 2 in our group got their food. The rest was much later. Many items were cold. However, I would try it again because the staff was so great I’m sure it’s going to improve. On a personal note I would like to see the staff dress a little better, it would go with the atmosphere & personality of 40 North better. Oh!! And the drinks were to die for!!! The bartender NAILED IT!!!

Hoping for a nice dinner. Wait staff was steller, however the salmon was over cooked, the New York, flavorless, food out cold. Manger addressed the issue at his leisure. We have tried this venue several times. Not going back!

Absolutely the worst and unreasonably expensive meal I've ever had. We got there just as they opened. I said "This is a nice place!" and the hostess snapped "YEAH" at me before handing us off to a server who was in over her head but doing her best. Ordered the chicken fried steak -- "Sorry, we only have one" -- what?? ”Let me check..." A minute later, it's "We're all out of chicken fried steak." My friend ordered the pork chop with asparagus -- "Sorry, we're out of asparagus." Wow. So I ordered the "smoked mac n cheese" which was THIRTY TWO DOLLARS with the burnt ends add-on for $10 more -- and the mac n cheese was dry garbage, high school cafeteria macaroni with no cheese sauce of any kind, just baked with a little cheese sprinkled on top. For that plus two appetizers, I paid NINETY DOLLARS. Just garbage across the board. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Everything we ordered from the menu, she said they were out of. Only a handful things to choose from. How can you be out of sooo many things?! Go shopping! For a ok meal for two adults (fish for me, salad for him) 2 very small kids meals was $100!! They think they are a fancy restaurant to charge that but it’s low quality. Lower your prices and get more food please . Not coming back

We had reservations for 2 this past Tuesday. We made the reservations a day prior. When we arrived, the gentlemen at the bar said, "we are closed." We stated that we had reservations and had received a text hours before reminding us of our reservation. He said, "nope, only the back is opened so you can have burgers and beers tonight." He mentioned they were short staffed and walked away. We ended up leaving and had a great meal at Texas T-Bone. I understand that companies are short staffed right now but they could have called to let us know that the front wasn't open. Beer and burgers isn't that appealing when you want a nice dinner. The middle-aged guy was rude and acted as if our presence was annoying to him. Meanwhile, there were only two tables seated in the sports bar. Very disappointing when you want to celebrate with a nice meal!

I do not recommend this place it is trying to be an upscale restaurant but the food and service were terrible and not worth the price. I asked for a glass of prosecco and the server brought me the bottle as if I was going to drink it out of the bottle like a beer. All of our steaks were overcooked, the bathroom has a sewer problem and I literally gagged when I walked in and almost vomited up my overpriced dinner from the smell. When we arrived the host asked if we had reservation even though the place was empty and instead of seating us up front in the restaurant area which is nice she put us in the back bar area which is not a romantic date night atmosphere. When we left the front had two tables occupied, so not sure why we were stuck in the back.

We went for Mother’s Day. It was a buffet that was cold and at one of the worst we have ever had, price was $35.00 a person. I should have asked price before, we certainly wouldn’t have paid that ridiculous price for sausage patties, chicken strips, a couple of salads. To top it off we had to serve ourselves. Very very disappointed ?

Fantastic food, we had the chicken fried steak sandwich with fries and it was huge. They have lots of Nebraska brewed beers on tap, we had an awesome pineapple brew. The atmosphere, Staff and prices are fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!!

The server was super sweet. The patio heaters did not work. The food tasted great, but the portion size was tiny. The manager was so rude!!!! Like beyond rude! Scallops were tiny on one friend's entree and huge on the other. Manager offered 15% off - not a redo or a free whatever. And he said "Did you eat?" And like yeah, because it was a scoop of rice and two tiny scallops. So our bill was almost $100. Ridiculous.

Very nice inside! Was shocked to find such a nice restaurant in a small town. Very friendly staff. Food wise: lunch on a Thursday, one of two tables of 2 people. Seemed to take a very long time to get the food out. Only 4 of us in entire place. With that said..... Grilled chicken sandwich was very good! Above normal. Recommend. Cheeseburger. Just ok, over cooked. Cooked well done when medium rare was asked for- Would I go back-YES

Nice atmosphere. Where it dropped off was service and food quality. I told the waitress I was torn between the pork chops and walleye. Then chose walleye. 15 min pass and she advises they were out of walleye. Not at all busy, but lack of menu availability and customer service. I then chose pork chop and their Brussels sprouts side. Pork chop was less than 1” thick, tough and grisly. Brussel sprouts were unevenly cooked and I only tried a few. Thought of trying again for walleye tomorrow but decided to look for other options. I think I was one of two tables being served in the restaurant.

Had lunch here for the first time with a couple of coworkers. I was pleased with the ample menu. A little bit of something for everyone. My peers ordered a garden salad and the classic burger. I orderd the apple, bacon & spinach salad with Dorothy Lynch dressing. The garden salad was ample with a variety of ingredients. Good choice. The classic burger looked good also. Half pound patty with the usual fixin's. My coworker stated that the burger was cooked perfect and the meat well seasoned. The bun was fresh and had good texture. My salad was chok-full of ingredients that blended well together. I have never had the Dorothy Lynch salad dressing before as I am still relatively new to Nebraska. Home run. Service was great and our food came out in a timely manner. Solid experience.

A $38 filet that was dry and overly cooked. A baked potato that tasted reheated and mixed vegetables was broccoli and cauliflower butts. Not good! This place has gone down hill! They have fancy prices for a place that needs better food and atmosphere that doesn’t feel fancy. Also hire some friendly staff please! Geesh
