The waitress was kind. Greeted us, got us our drink orders quickly, and took our food orders. She explained this "hot and ready" thing they do where they bring out food as it's ready. I didn't think much of it other than maybe our food would be a few minutes in between. Well, we watched as other tables proceeded to get their food over a 60-minute span before our waitress said somehow our food got mixed in with a large party and ours is delayed. They brought the dried out mac and cheese for my 2 year old, while my 8 year old and 10 year old nephew watched. About 15 minutes later, they brought 2 burgers for 2 different adults at our table. At about the 90 minute mark, they brought out boneless wings for 2 of the adults and 2 kids. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting. Found out my order got lost and I was over it at this point. I asked for my order to be canceled and got up to leave. When I thought my waitress was getting my ticket for my daughter's meal, she was in the back getting my food (well, half of it. They forgot my onion rings too). I had no appetite after this awful service. I asked for our meal to at least be discounted since I was leaving with my food in a to-go box. The manager took off a whole $2 from the ticket price. Insanity! She didn't even make an effort to come apologize herself. I will not be returning to this location and hope this is a huge red flag to corporate about how this manager chooses to run the grand island location.

I've never been disappointed with this particular BWW. The service has always been great, and the food has always met my expectations. Last week when we went, husker volleyball was on tv as was the conference championship football games...... place was packed, could barely get in the front door. It was just my wife and I and they managed to get us seated within 5 minutes. Service was a little slow once we were seated but I figured it likely would be as busy as they were. We didn't wait nearly as long as I thought we were going to before our waitress came to our table. She was really good, made sure we were taken care of.
