Yes, the best coffee in Grand Island is at a church. Ty has a simple and strong menu focused on excellent coffee and espresso drinks. If you care about good coffee, it's worth the 10 minute drive off the interstate. Just make sure you're here before they close at 2.
We detoured off the highway (on a trip from Nashville to Seattle) to this little spot located in a church. Spent a few minutes chatting with Ty and came away feeling like if we'd stayed, we'd have made a new friend. Really good dude. And the coffee was absolutely worth the extra 30 minutes round trip!

My husband and I were passing through the area. When we arrived, we were a little confused, but found a sign (facing the building it's on the left side). The environment is beautiful and inviting. If we were to stay the day and work, I totally would have done it here! The barista, Ty, was very welcoming. We ordered two Promised Land drinks... (chef's kiss)!
