Delicious Our Burger!! Reminded me of the diner burgers when I was a kid. The Government cheese is the taste one remembers of American cheese. Superb!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to get to the restaurant and seating.

I know this is a small town, but who the hell closes at 6:48 on a Saturday??? I was told they were closed due to short staffing as four members stood behind the counter, laughing and goofing off!! very disappointed

I have previously had good experience here, however today we ordered at 1:10PM and waited until 2:00PM to get a refund. They told us our food was next to be cooked.

It's a odd place. Not really any wait staff. You order in the supermarket then wait for a mediocre burger. I'm not really sure what all they have. I would find someplace else.

We stopped by on September 12, 2022 for a late lunch. We have heard so much about Wahlburgers, we had to check it out. We walked into the restaurant, and this was our first time to visit. We did not know that you had to order next to the deli section so we just had a seat inside. An employee informed us that we had to order outside of the restaurant in the deli section of the Hy-Vee store. The employee that helped us was in a big hurry. She informed us that we were her last customers, and that she needed to go pick her child up. She appeared to be stressed and in a big hurry. I can understand, but you don't need to share your personal life with customers. She seemed very flustered and told us there was just a lot going on and we were both talking at the same time. We were giving her our orders, and we gave them separately. While I waited for my husband to wrap up this transaction, I thought I would peek in the deli case just to have a look. It was our first time in the store as well. An employee came around and asked if I needed help, and I said, "Oh, no thank you I am just looking." He had a look on his face as if this was a bother for him to take the time to walk over to me. He turned and walked away and never said you're welcome. We sat down at our table with the sign sitting atop of the table that said sanitized and maybe it was, however, there were crumbs on the seat. There were also other tables where customers had been sitting and was now vacant. The entire time we were there, no one came out to clean those tables. Our food was delivered to us by an employee wearing rubber boots. My guess was he must be from the deli. My suggestion would be this, make sure your restaurant bathrooms are clean. The floor was very dirty and sticky. When you clean the tables in the restaurant make sure you wipe off the seats as well. You had a bar in the restaurant, but the beer taps weren't working and even if they were, no one was there. Please have your employees refrain from sharing their personal life demands with the customers. Also it appears that some of your employees may not have been raised with manners, so maybe this needs to be part of their new hire process. I had high expectations for visiting this restaurant as we have heard so much about Wahlburgers on TV. We will not be returning.

Gave this place a try. I tried the double cheeseburger with fries. The burgers are cooked to medium. The burger was pretty good and juicy. Everything was made to order. They have a TV screen that you can see the kitchen and the cooks prepare your food as you wait. They gave us some coupons for a free appetizer. I thought that was cool until I read the small print and they can only be redeemed on the weekends which is d**** All that being said I would give this place a try next time you have a craving for a good burger.

This place is OVERRATED & OVER PRICED. Got a chicken sandwich & a side salad & it was over $15 after tax??. I could spend that at a local restaurant & get more food, & a better meal.
