The sandwich was some unremarkable microwaved, soggy stuff. We arrived about an hour, a little more, before they were scheduled to close. As soon as we got our food and sat down at a table, a couple workers came out and started sweeping all the dirt and food on the floors around us and then began mopping. I could not finish my lunch thinking about the dust and dirt floating around and smelling some old dirty mop swishing around me... Will never go back.

Squeaky clean, efficient gentleman running the place and the sandwich was very delicious I got the Italian, and you cannot beat the prices! Will return to try everything on the menu. I love coming here over the lunch hour to grab a lighter meal. I love ordering the Italian sandwich or the Rueben. The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and it has a great atmosphere to sit down with colleagues. I also love ordering a cup of soup as part of their meal combos. I highly recommend coming here if you want to try a local treat in Hastings, Nebraska.
