Horrible service!!! Food was awful. Waited over 20 minutes for a drink while other people that came in after I did got served first. They weren't even busy. Again I wouldn't recommend this place.
The brisket is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive. Great black and tans!

Double check your totals owed after eating here. Had my card charged 14$ extra after I left a cash tip and filled out merchant copy receipt completely. It's been two days of me calling three times a day the server Dani has been avoiding getting me in contact with management and claims no management has been around in two days. I am sure I'm not the only one who this has happened to.

Went on a Tuesday and had the burger special for 2 people….the waitress took forever to come back and get our food order….never came and refilled drinks…but the biggest complaint was when we got the bill…they said $2.50 for burger and $2.50 for fries $10 for 2 people and then was told only $1.00 for extras (lettuce, onion etc.) and much to our surprise they charged for every little thing such as the ranch to go with cheese curds…the service was absolutely terrible and even people behind us were complaining how she was up at counter (we was in north part of restaurant) talking/chatting away with her coworker and not attending to her customers that part of the restaurant.

Won't be back ?..The only reason is that it is not handicap friendly. I am 70 years old, but steps are not my friend. And the last time when we went, if my husband had not been there I would have triped.Sorry even came from grand island. Linda

the waitress was absolutely horrible!!! forgot multiple things than when trying to leave she wanted to clear out the table wouldn't move so we could get out of the booth, instead had a shitty attitude!!

Was there couple weekends ago, fish my child ordered was overcooked the cheese balls were extremely greasy my wife sandwich had no flavor to it, my burger was fine but still get 1 star because we set next to the employee register station they like to talk around there and they can't say one sentence with out using the f word

Anytime I get to hastings love to stop here! Great hometown bar. Awesome atmosphere! Great food and cold Beer! Next door to some awesome shopping also! ☺️
The cooks cleaned up early and shut down the kitchen. They made the waitress cry. Not cool****New visit, great food, great service!***********I dropped my stars from five to three. I love Murphy's, but our last visit was frustrating. We were celebrating a special event, and we sat in the main/upper area. A waitress kicked us out, saying "it's so busy up here, we want you to get great service". We were moved down to the "family" pool table area, where it took forever for a waitress to notice us and forever more for her to come take our order. I think it's because the other waitress was dumping everyone on her and she was just plain frazzled. People who came in after us had their food long before we did. My husband had to leave for his meeting before we were done. On the whole, it really made a bad impression. Bad form.

We bowled in a tournament in Hastings and was looking for a sports bar with the Nebraska volleyball game on. When we arrived we fell in love with this great looking place and couldn't believe it wasn't packed with 2 big games playing. Ella was our server and she was awesome! We ordered our drinks & food and it came out quick. Two of us had burgers, 1 steak and 1 chicken tenders. The burgers tasted great until we got to the half that was raw/rare. My friend who had the steak ordered it med well and it was med rare. We didn't say anything as we were getting full from the sides...but then asked Ella to turn the volume up on the game (as it was a very boring atmosphere without no sound). She said she asked (whoever the so called manager was) and they said no! We couldn't believe that! So we asked her why not and the managers answer was "because she didn't want to!" Other guests had asked too with the same response so they left! We decided to ask one more time and that's when the manager was totally rude & unprofessional! Your establishment had maybe 5 total tables with guests in it and a few around the bar. We asked another couple where another sports bar was and they suggested Rivals so we left and went there... that place was packed!! We were lucky to get a table for 4 from those who just left. Wow what a shame we had to leave your place just because your manager "didn't want to turn the volume on!" Our women's state bowling tournament starts in March for 11 straight weekends and I'm sorry to say I won't recommend you!P.S. We saw the guests that left your place at your competition too.

Our server was great, not her fault the kitchen was slow. Our burgers were overcooked and my bun had a hair in it. We opted for side salads vs fries but, the lettuce was far from fresh! Had we not traveled all day and it been later than normal dinner hours, we would have left.

Was traveling and decided to stop. Ordered a burger and the bun had mold on it. Also talked to a few other people around me that had the same issue and had to send the food back. Will not be back anytime soon. This used to be my go-to spot when in town, but has clearly went down hill since management change.
