I am in Hastings as a traveling healthcare worker. I eat at Tony's once a week when I am out here for work. The food is AMAZING, the staff is so friendly and I am such a regular they have my order memorized. The carne asada is unlike anything I've ever had, so flavorful and juicy, the carnitas are SO GOOD too, the rice and red hot sauce, A1. I can't speak highly enough about this place. I am going to miss eating here SO MUCH when my assignment ends next week. I wish they'd come open a restaurant in Omaha!!!!! Also, the prices are super reasonable, and in fact cheap for me. I have tried 2 other mexican places in hastings, and none of them compared to Tony's. I will be by after my shift tonight for my weekely fix.

The young lady at the counter was very friendly and polite. We put in our order and sat down and within 5 minutes our order was in front of us. The food was phenomenal! Will definitely be back when we get to Hastings!

Had another recommendation by the local staff to get some Tacos at Tony’s. Their DoorDash is different then their menu so heads up. I decided to make my own mixed plate with two tacos, enchilada and chips and salsa. It was amazing to get good Mexican in middle Nebraska. Inside the restaurant was not super busy but the drive thru took the majority of the service. If you close I would say hit it up on the way in or out of town.

I like the ambiance and authentic vibe. The beans were really creamy for my taste and being vegan with celiac there were no options and when I ordered it was a lot of beans so I wish they had been more textured and just wish there would have been options in the first place.

I fiund it a bit hard to to find since it shares the same building of a gas station trust your GPS. Don't expect piñatas or sombreros hanging from off the walls just fallow the music " ha ha " . Tony will grot you. Enjoy your meal.Vegetarian options: You can order a la cart and be as vegetarian or vegan as you can be. I order chiles rellenos and ended up with this delicious poblano wrapped in a light egg batter and stuffed with queso. It was accompanied with yellow rice and refried beens nand super delicious tender tortillas. The salsa verde on the side was muy delicious. My grand daughter had the beef tamal and it also was great only that she found it to be a bit spicy. I tasted it and it was just right another of the entries was a chicken burrito and my friend said it was the best she ever had. So Tony there you go you guys are the best....and yes my son had a rough time digesting the hot chip chalenge but he lived to talk about it.
