If you are looking for the old Cellar vibe, you won't find it. It's now a great little sports bar. That being said, the food is really good and the service is on point while keeping it relaxed and unfussy. You better be there early if you're wanting the prime rib lunch special but the beer and burger combo (yes you can substitute soda) is reasonable and darn good. Didn't order the onion rings this time, but had them right after they opened and they needed a little tweaking to be the famous rings of the past. Very nice cocktail menu if you favor a fancy drink. New game room and beer garden are great additions.

Cali was a great server, very attentive to our needs. The food was very good. The French dip was wonderful, so much flavor.

Food was great, came out hot and timely. Exceeded above most other restaurants. Our server was Shamon, and he was great with communicating and keeping our drinks full. He also had a great attitude and was very professional. I recommend the Hot Rod Burger.

Kitchen hours do not match with the one on their website. Either they have not updated it or they are closing kitchen an hour early on weekends cause it is slow.

I was disappointed when i learned that the Cellar would reopen as a sports bar so it took us a while to make our first visit, just last week. Our food took quite a while but they were busy so that was understandable. The food was good and our server was good, stopping by our table several times to apologize for the delay. My complaint was with someone standing at the bar, who I was told was one of the owners. His language was offensive, using the word over and over again. We won’t rush back and certainly would not recommend for a family atmosphere.

After being closed for several years, new owners have reopened it as a sports bar. Menu was scaled down, but several Cellar favorites and some new offerings too. Enjoyed cod filets and chips.

3 of us each ordered different sandwiches at around $13 each plus an appetizer order of onion rings at $12 or $13. The onion rings were overcooked, hard, and had no flavor. The Patty Melt was good, the French Dip and Reuben were fatty, greasy and had gristle, so we barely ate any of it. The waiter and service was GREAT however as he was very attentive to our table. Also it was so cold in the restaurant that we noticed all the patrons had their coats on! Turn up the heat!

A local sports bar that is a little hard to locate since it is in the back of the building. Wide selection menu from pizza, sandwiches & salads.

Not good ordered a Reuben sandwich it was lunchmeat not real corned beef sandwich. Ordered the patty melt totally missed the mark it was a overdone hamburger patty on a very chewable piece of bread couldn't even finish it.They need to hire someone that can cook. The salads were non impressive all croutons and wilted lettuce.

Bloody Mary's and servers were great. The food was pretty good but was VERY slow coming out of the kitchen. Probably not a place to go on Sunday afternoon if you are in a hurry.

So happy to have the Cellar back! First time for me to visit, I’m impressed with the remodeling as it’s more opened and brighter, the menu has a good selection, and the service is good. Absolutely adored their famous onion rings which is a must! Always seem to come to the Cellar at times when I’m in Kearney.
