We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Jalisco, and it was delicious. The kids' meals were brought out promptly, and they loved them. The waiter was exceptional and checked on us several times. Great place!

I won't frequent this place ever again! My last meal was a red gelatinous muck, supposedly beef, and tasted awful!!Their servers don't know how to prepare a bill - one of our group got charged $135.00 for their meal!!Watch your bill and I recommend you pay with cash; they are noted for changing the tip amount on your bill after you leave ... despicable business practices!!! If it had been me, I would have notified the authorities!

The first time they brought out the steak it was well done. I asked for it to be medium and they brought it back not even cooked at all. They only came back to our table one time and there were only our table and one other in there I would never recommend anyone going here unless you want food

First the place is a little rough around all the edges. I was not able to get a straight answer from our waiter on pricing. The most important thing was the food was just ok at best.

A very Midwestern take on Mexican food; in a word: bland. The food was inexpensive, cooked properly, and served quickly, but devoid of seasoning or spices. I ordered a chimichanga and what I got seemed like a large chicken enchilada with American cheese sauce—nothing inherently wrong with it but not at all what I was expecting. If the thought of jalapeños gives you indigestion, then you'll probably like it just fine. If you're used to Mexican food like you find most places in the American South or West, you'll be disappointed.Bonus points for having horchata, though.

This was our first time at Los Magueyes. Overall, we were very happy with our experience!Food: We ordered a Fajita Taco Salad (pictured), Chimichunga (a la carte) and a quesadilla kids meal. We ordered waters and only paid $25. The taco salad was MASSIVE and could easily have fed two people in my opinion. The chimi was good and came with a delicious sauce. The kids meal came with French fries and a drink. The free chips and salsa were good. The chips were a bit lighter and less salty than most Mexican restaurants we’ve tried. The salsa was traditional house salsa with a medium heat.Customer Service: All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food came out super fast and they were attentive to our needs.Atmosphere: The main dining room has recently been remodeled and is clean and comfortable. There is music playing, but it is at a comfortable level. The only criticism is the bathrooms, which are in rough shape and need a deep clean or remodel.Definitively give this place a try! We will be back next time we are coming through.

I give it 3.5 stars. The food is descent and the restaurant is very clean, and the service was fast and friendly. We were driving through and didn't want junk food. My kid had the fajita nachos and I had an enchilada and a taco. The chips and salsa are also good. Overall, for the middle of Nebraska where there is so much fast food we were pleased to have a pretty good on the road meal. It was also not expensive, I think it was about $30 including a 20% tip.
