Food was good but the serving size was so small. Ordered burnt ends and got 5 pieces on a 2 meat plate. Pieces were 25% fat. Sides are small as well. Service was decent. Benches to sit on were a little difficult to get in and out of and a little uncomfortable.

Very disappointed. Meat was bland. Worst Mac and Cheese I have ever had. For over 20 bucks the portions were ridiculously small. 2 small strips of brisket, a small handful of pulled pork, the smallest side dish size I’ve ever had (which turned out to be a blessing since it was that bad), and 1 whole ounce of BBQ sauce. The toast was the best part of the meal. At least the counter lady was nice. NEVER again.

Tried this out as it belongs to a high school classmate. My husband and I are really picky when it comes to BBQ as that is his specialty when we entertain but this place was a great surprise. The food was flavorful and plentiful. We want to check out the Bloody Marys next time.

It was my first experience at this place, the food was extremely good. The owner and his entire staff was super polite, and receptive to us. I had the sliders with brisket, pulled pork ,chicken and fries on the side, it was really tasty.

We went here as a family and the portions were very sad. Your side comes in a little cup that is probably equivalent to a 1/2 of a cup. The 3 meat platter should be enough food for at least two people if not three and it was pitiful. We were very disappointed. The ribs tasted like liquid smoke was used and made our stomachs hurt. The food was ok we were just very disappointed by the price compared to the portions you received. I would not recommend unfortunately.

Hands down our favorite place to eat when in Kearney. The BBQ is amazing and the burgers will take you back to how burgers should taste. Sides and sauces homemade. The staff as always friendly and bathrooms clean.

My fiancée and I spent the night in Kearney and decided to grab S.A.M. Que for dinner - we both got variations of the meat platters! Our meats included burnt ends, ribs, and pulled pork. My favorite sauce was the honey mustard - HIGHLY recommend on any of the meats we tried. Everything was delicious, including our sides.My only qualm is that water isn’t free and you are not allowed to bring “personal beverage containers” which is plainly unacceptable.
