Stopped here for food and drinks during a cross country road trip. The drinks were great! Some of the best we've had on our trip, very flavorful and unique options. The grape hard seltzer was one of a kind! Our server was also awesome, very attentive and friendly. We had the chicken spinach alfredo pizza for dinner which was pretty good. We really liked the crust but it was a little soggy. I think it was the tomatoes that threw things off, if those were replaced with sun dried tomatoes it would be way better! Definitely worth the stop.

We always try and make Thunderhead a dinner destination whenever we are in town. We get the 12” Thunder-pie pizza and a pretzel appetizer and it feeds both of us with usually a slice or two leftover. And you can’t go wrong with the Thunder Punch drink!

Waiters need training. Things came out in random order. Waiter didn’t think to bring silver and napkins? Pizza was ok. Focaccia bread overdone but beer was delicious

My Husband and I had a meal here while the kids were trick or treating down the block...the food was good and a nice atmosphere!
Beer was good service was good. But seriously 26$ for a pizza like that. Totinos party pizza has more toppings. Do better !

Worth the stop passing through for a couple of good IPAs, and a lot of options on tap if that’s not your taste.Friendly staff, good service, and good beer. The food options are very limited though, and the pizza is ok but nothing special.

Stopped in after a long drive from Colorado. Had a really nice jalapeno ale and the service was very friendly. Didn't try the pizza because we had other plans for dinner.

After reading extensive Yelp reviews of dining spots in Kearney, we chose Thunderhead Brewing. Large beer selection. We ordered salad, appetizer pretzel, and pizza. The pretzel was the star of the meal, covered in butter, hot and delish. The salad was basic and fresh. The pizza was meh. The crust was soggy in the middle, and the cheese and toppings were sparse. Ambiance was nice, including music. It felt like a spot for locals. Gives travelers a spot to see old downtown Kearney. Service was very good.
Good food & Service but noisy.
