This place is definitely one of the best places I have visited. The service was great, the crew was very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing and the dishes were delicious and pleasant. The interiors were attractive and added a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Thank you for making my day special!

Basic kitchen and a Middle East/ Indian grocery store. Family run. Food is basic but good and portions are big. Grill chicken for $12 is good for 2. Add rice. Kebabs / burgers and even a pizza. Its a reasonable Halal option in Lincoln NE. Gyros also offered. Neighbourhood is a little run down.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lincoln. They are always kind and friendly in their service and the food is delicious - would highly recommend the Beef Shawarma Sandwich. They have complimentary coffee and tea, and the food is fresh from the grocery store attached. It has the perfect local restaurant atmosphere!

Old unfresh food. We ordered lunch and eggplant broth was old, weird and uneatable and this keeps happening all the time we order food recently. Shady prices that they charge you high and randomly not giving any concerns to customers satisfaction. Never will go back to this place again

Wow! This is the real deal. I have been traveling and working in the Middle East for many many years. I have to say that the plain hummus is as savory and smooth as anything I have ever eaten. The kabobs the sandwiches, I don't know how to say it other than it's just amazing.

My second time coming here for dine in. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because the last time I came they told me they didn't have pizza but they made pizza for some customers after us. The food is really good. I used to order their food for delivery in the past which is how I knew their food was so delicious. They do not have outdoor seating but they have plenty of indoor seating. The restaurant is located at the very back of the grocery store. They also have a separate entrance for the restaurant too.

My husband and I are visiting our daughter who lives around the corner and we are beyond thankful we walked over to eat here! The food is absolutely amazing. We have been to Haifa, Israel several times (my husband lived there for two years too) and have had shawarma there and the shawarma at this restaurant is even better. Wonderful and kind gentlemen running the restaurant as well. Not sure where the mention of bugs in the other review came from honestly. This is one of the cleanest restaurants I have actually been in. Spotless. You can see where they are cooking and it is very clean. Put that other review out of your mind and come eat here. If you live in Lincoln and you haven't been here I would say you're missing out on one of the best restaurants in the city. Authentic, tasty food. We are leaving Tuesday and we will absolutely try to make it back one more time before we leave. If I lived in Lincoln I'd be eating here every week.

It's so appetizing. Quick and friendly service. The place has an awesome atmosphere. This place has many reviews for a reason.

Food was really great. Owner was super friendly and brought samples. There were however two cockroaches running on the floors and walls. Wish we wouldn't have seen those because we would for sure come back had we not. Not afraid of bugs and like cheap exotic food? This is for you.

The food is great but I've never received a fully accurate order from them. Even before COVID hit. There have been times when I've ordered a side and was charged for it but never received it. Ive also received orders that were literally just near and rice. I've always ordered the same thing and it comes with some extra stuff like sauce, a vegetable mix, and a couple of other things - it's never been just rice and meat. Again. The food is great but don't expect to get everything your ordered if you're getting it delivered.

Delicious food! Had the beef kabob, rice and fatoosh salad. The friendly staff threw in a dessert which I think was the aish el saraya. If you're nearby, drop in and at least pick up some of this dessert! It's very different from any western dessert I can easily compare. For the kitchen to pick up food, drive and park around back. You'll walk in and go left for the kitchen; right for the market.

Great delivery. Great Chicken kabobs. Rice and humus were excellent. Didn't get bread but didn't need it.

Confusing atmosphere but the food is excellent and the portions are extremely generous and everyone there is friendly

The beef kabob is very well seasoned with a hint of citrus and a slight lamb flavor. The rice is also well seasoned but not over seasoned- it has just the right hint of turmeric and other savory spices. The okra soup has lots of okra and is very hearty and of course pairs well with the bread. The fatoosh is ok, the tomato pieces are a bit big but the bright, fresh lemon juice is very tasty. I might have missed it, but my entree also came with a small side of hummus which I was not expecting and was happy to have- the hummus was very smooth and lightly seasoned. Also the sizes are very generous (the soup was actually slightly more than I would typically expect from delivery) and I was able to have a good amount of leftovers which is kind of hard for me sometimes because I looove food lol. Overall a very good experience.

I was visiting from Omaha and as an Egyptian, was interested in trying Middle Eastern food from here. We ordered the lentil soup, lamb shank w rice and falafel. The lentil soup was lacking in flavor and salt. The lam shank and rice, as well was lacking in flavor and the rice was OK. The falafel was delicious and the hummus was wonderful. Along with my lamb shank came a cold spread of hummus and an eggplant cold salad. I would have much preferred a warm veg accompaniment. We also got four huge rounds of bread, they weren't warm. The cucumber, onion tomato salad had pieces of small lemon wedges which I had never seen in an Arabic restaurant and it was a unique and pleasant surprise. The restaurant provided hot tea which was delish. The portions and sizes were excellent. It appears that there was a buffet looking option and if I had the courage, I would have liked to see the options behind the register as regulars seemed to go to that. I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. It had the good and not so good.
