7 Best Beer Bars in Lincoln

Corn Coast Brewing Company Brewery • $$
1433 Dahlberg Dr, Lincoln

“Terrific place. Small taproom in a new industrial strip-mall area. The beers are top notch, really good at all styles, and particularly great at making ipas. They aren't just an ipa place, they just do those better than anyone else in Nebraska. They also make classic beers, sometimes classically, and sometimes with a twist. Super friendly service and worth a stop every time you are in Lincoln. Nice to go selection too, sometimes they can't keep up with demand and options can get limited for 16oz cans“

“Fun place. There was a festival going on earlier that we missed but we stopped by after our show. Don't skip ordering a pretzel! Very fresh and I think hand made. Easily the best pretzel I have had. Lot of beer selection. I would recommend their Dunkel. I know I will order it again.“

“It was my first time to Zipline! We sat up at the bar and it was amazing. Great service and excellent beer. We started off with a flight and then had a stout. Finished up with the Cranberry Cider. Overall it was a great experience. Definitely a highlight of my trip back to Lincoln. Thanks for the memories. “

“Saturday night, 6 pm, no where to sit at first; packed full of patrons. They lost our order, waited 20 minutes and then 20 minutes more. Otherwise, the pizza we had was amazing! Super friendly staff! Real neat, old, building. Comfortable seating when we finally did. We played a game of pool before we left. We're definitely going back soon!“

“My brother who lives in town really likes this place as do his kids so we've been to both locations over the years. There's not a lot of seating inside but we fit a group of 5 adults and three kids around two adjacent tables just fine. They have a lot of veggie options for pies that aren't just about the absence of meat. Pretty inventive toppings that taste fresh and complement each other nicely. Personally, I like my crust a lil thicker but the thin crust here works well. It borders on crunchy and is best hot.“

“This was not at all what I expected when we came!! It's definitely got a local hang out place vibe more than your typical restaurant does. They have daily deals, which seem to be great pricing. The tots are delicious and plenteous! The spicy steak wrap is spicy!! The chipotle chicken wrap was yummy!“

“I've always enjoyed HopCat for its convenience and just the variety of beers on tap. Solid food, good drinks, not outstanding but is a great spot to just hang out and have a good time with friends. Nashville Hot Wings 8.2/10 - Little underwhelming on the “Nashville Hot” flavor, but wings were cooked fantastic. Flats over drumsticks, always. Would definitely try some of the other flavors. Go to appetizer with this one. Classic Chicken Caesar 6.8/10 - Admittedly, I'm a Caesar Salad fanatic. Dave Portnoy does pizza, I do Caesar Salads. With that said, can't expect a ton from a salad at a brew pub. Lettuce was fine, pretty lightly dressed (almost dry), and chicken was to be expected. Bonus points for the shaved parmesan they use to top, but take those away for the generic croutons thrown in it. Filled me up, but wasn't really expecting much with it. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich 7.1/10 - Should have known better doubling up on flavors like I did, but I had too much faith in it. Chicken was pretty heavily breaded, and didn't quite have the thickness I'd like in a chicken sandwich. Biggest miss here I think is the contrast texture/flavor that any good Nashville Hot needs! Where is the coleslaw?! As much hate as it gets, a nice cooler from the heat along with a texture change is a must. Still though, good choice overall. Hangover Burger 7.7/10 - Solid choice for a burger, all the breakfast fixes on it (hash brown, over easy egg). Pretzel buns are delicious but for me sometimes are a little heavy. Only finished about half of it, but without trying some of the other items would have easily smashed it. Can't miss with that one. Hope you all appreciate my review!“
