Got the don burger with bacon and onion rings service was great and fast, the burger was out of this world good. They have the best onion rings in town. Would go again 10/10.

After dinner, as we were leaving, 4 different employees thanked us for coming and they wished us a good night. The person working the kitchen, the young man sweeping the floor, the gentleman working the counter, and the person stacking chairs...all took time to tell us goodbye and thank us. That kind of customer appreciation is hard to find anymore. Add in the delicious food, and Don and Millie's provides the best dining experience.

My husband and I stopped for dinner at Don and Millie's on 56th Street in Lincoln. The food, as always, was outstanding (they by far make the best cheeseburger in Lincoln...hand-formed beef patties with just the right amount of juiciness)....when we left, FOUR different employees acknowledged us. The worker sweeping the floor told us to have a great evening, and he thanked us for coming, the person working in the kitchen thanked us and told us to have a nice evening, the guy wiping tables thanked us and told us to come back, and the person at the order counter said goodbye and thanked us for coming. WOW! Good food and great service! You just don't find that kind of employee kindness and attention anymore, so Don and Millies now has a permanent customer with us!

We had to shake our fries in the paper bag to try to knock off the salt, and they were still too salty. The burgers were also salty... and I love salt, so this means there was A LOT. Otherwise the food was fine, but there was a mistake in the order.

Best Cheese Frenchie I've had in my life!Truly a flashback to the '50s, this romantic fast food restaurant serves classic burgers, cheese frenchee's, beer and ninety-nine cent margaritas. Neon signs cover each wall with those old-timey small square TV's in the corners with baseball programming. There's a modest ranch fountain near the end of the counter, at no extra charge.I have to say, I only ever see elderly folk and millenials in here. I think Don and Millie's is appealing to those demographics. There is a location near 84th and O street with an expanded dining room for busy weekend nights.
