Everything is perfect. The music is just a little loud for sensitive ears. The potato soup is the best along side with fries and a couple of chicken strips.Kid-friendliness: My 10 yo loves the atmosphere, fries and tall booths. If only she would try the meats, then I would be a super happy momma.

The first ones in the door. Place was filthy! I assume the crumbs on seats are from the day before, old drink splatter all over a picture hanging above a booth setting. The rug in front of the pop machine hadn't been vacuumed in days. I doubt it's ever been hosed off. I can only imagine what the kitchen or the BR looks like.Dietary restrictions: Guessing they fry in (soy) vegetable oil.Parking: Lots of handicap parking, but no way for them to get in the two sets of front doors by themselves!

My husband and I stopped for dinner at Don and Millie's on 56th Street in Lincoln. The food, as always, was outstanding (they by far make the best cheeseburger in Lincoln...hand-formed beef patties with just the right amount of juiciness)....when we left, FOUR different employees acknowledged us. The worker sweeping the floor told us to have a great evening, and he thanked us for coming, the person working in the kitchen thanked us and told us to have a nice evening, the guy wiping tables thanked us and told us to come back, and the person at the order counter said goodbye and thanked us for coming. WOW! Good food and great service! You just don't find that kind of employee kindness and attention anymore, so Don and Millies now has a permanent customer with us!
I love this place, their burgers are "real" burgers, excellent beef. I also appreciate that they had lent options in their menu.

I had the Millie's Special, and it's an amazing deal. Half a cheese Frenchie, a bowl of soup, a drink, and a cookie! The potato soup is great!
