Ordered Thurs special Hot beef sandwich w mashed pots and salad. Had to ask for a knife as we only got a fork. The meat was tender but got only a bit of gravy on bread so sandwich was dry. Asked for more and they brought one small dish for several people! Said they were out of gravy but as we were leaving they were bringing more sandwiches with plenty of gravy! Service was excellent. Sports bar atmosphere.

Would give more stars but was turned away at 1130 pm when i got off work, they close at 1 am on Tuesdays. I live in highlands but I guess I'll go back to big red keno from now on. Just wanted a beer and to play some keno.

This was not at all what I expected when we came!! It's definitely got a local hang out place vibe more than your typical restaurant does. They have daily deals, which seem to be great pricing. The tots are delicious and plenteous! The spicy steak wrap is spicy!! The chipotle chicken wrap was yummy!

A solid indicator of a good restaurant is whether the staff sticks around. I've been going here for the past few years and recognize nearly everyone still from my first visit. Food is solid, and the place is relatively clean. Great deals throughout the weekdays as well. Recommend!

Well...the last time we were there was the LAST time we will go. Queso was cold spoiled and gross. Ground beef in queso was cold, old and disgusting. Chips so stale that we just pushed it back. Wings showed up. Burnt. Wrong flavor. The acoustics of this place are that of a corrugated tin hog barn. I literally can't hear the person sitting across the table from me because it's just a loud tinny box. Sorry guys. There's too much to fix. We won't be back.

My last review was from 5 years ago, and I said at the time that it was a nice neighborhood bar. In the interim, my wife and I stopped coming here because we were underwhelmed with the food and the service. We came back 3 or so months ago to give it a try. Holy cow. The food has improved by leaps and bounds (get the shrimp tacos). And I wish I knew how they hire their wait staff here--they are totally awesome. Work hard, attentive... and this feedback is from over 4 or 5 separate recent visits.This is now a GREAT neighborhood bar, and I would probably drive across town once in a while to visit. Kudos to owners, management, and staff for retooling this establishment. Strong recommend.
