Good food good service , i am originally from Portland and loved the hometown buffet there , when moved here with my fiancé I was on a hunt for the restaurant and came to find out the only similar buffet is the golden coral here in Lincoln it's the only American buffet out here When will this Buffet reopen again does anybody know ?

No doubt the best buffet I've ever been. It has so many types of food like Mexican, America, Italian, Chinese, and there is even a dessert section. And the food is great. My favorite part is probably the ice cream.

Ate here with my family on our way home from Sunday church after my cousins daughters baptism with my husband and his family. Large crowd but we were seated within the first few minutes and even got to sit by the window with a half booth that could also fit a booster seat (all clean by the way, very professional). Ever since my surgery I can't do not get to enjoy meat very often but I must say the prime rib looked so lean and trim that I took my chances- it was to DIE FOR and cut perfectly so it just melt it your mouth without any excessive chewing necessary and the young gentleman who carved it was very nice and polite. Delicious rolls and soft serve ice cream, will be a regular from now on. God bless this fine establishment.

Horrible service waited 10 mins to be acknowledged at the cashier than 5min waiting for someone to come over and serve food. Barely any food put up and what was put up was cold.
This is by far my favorite restaurant. I always say if you leave a buffet hungry, it's your fault. If your meal is messed up, it's your fault. Occasionally something might not be prepared to your liking. But you know what? You can just leave it and get something else. The ONLY problem I've ever had (with 8+ years of going there) is when they opened back up after being shut down for COVID. It would have been nice, since they were putting food on your plates for you, if they would have utilized more English-speaking employees for this task. It was frustrating trying to reword my order 3 times or more, but in the end, I found just pointing helped a lot.

The food here is simply delicious, the roast beef was so good it was actually better than the sirloin steak and that's saying something for me considering I mainly go to GC for the sirloin steak. Every was perfect except one very important detail. It was scorching inside. You couldn't tell the difference between outside and inside it was just too hot to enjoy everything. It's very sad to say but even as perfect as things were I couldn't wait to finish eating just to go to the car for air conditioning. To be fair, they do have air conditioning but an employee said it wasn't working as well as it used to. With all the heat from the grill and everything it heats the air up so much that you'll be sweating through your meal. I'm not saying don't go here, but what I am saying is complain about this until they fix it.

Now that all the shields are up its not so enjoyable to go to anymore. It used to be my favorite place to go for dining but it's for sure not my first choice these days. I understand the concern about covid but having to have another person serve you're buffet is kind of annoying. I won't be going back until this virus issue is under control.
