Tried their gluten free pumpkin bread. Make sure you bake this long enough or it can leave the bread spongy. The taste and flavor is wonderful. Sometimes gluten free has a strange taste but they did a great job.

Because of my husband, we are a Cooper’s Best Pancake Mix family. We had been out of it for months, and hoped to connect with family in NE that could replenish our supply. When the virus hit, we knew it would be a while before that would happen so I started investigating. I found Heartland Gourmet and placed an order. Great mix. My brother is gluten intolerant so whenever he comes over we use Heartland Gourmet mixes. In fact we liked it so much we started to make it for ourselves. I saw in another review that the mixes we're a little hard to make. I didn't think so. It wasn't an add water and mix recipe but nothing organic and gluten free is. You usually have to put in a little more effort but not too much. The mixes are delicious and they have a huge variety. I've tried the double chocolate cookie, the brownie and the pumpkin bread. I can't wait to try the others.

This company's gluten free products are the best I've found anywhere. I know they sell under the Heartland Gourmet brand and the Gluten Free Mama brand and you can't tell in the slightest that they are gluten free. I order their dry products on line but was happy to see they have frozen baked products in my local Hy Vee, which are great, so I'm happy as a clam. I'd rather eat the packaging than the actual product of many GF products on the market. But these products are the real deal. My family always asks me if I'm sure that the product is GF after they take a bite because they can't believe they are GF. Good stuff!
