The gal that helped us was really nice and the gentleman that did the cooking was hard at work! The food was decent, and nicely displayed and definitely a plate full however, I just don't feel it had much flavor.

Probably the best Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had. The service is surprisingly fast and the gravy is pretty good.
I can't imagine anyone giving this wonderful diner anything but a FIVE STAR review! Great food always, great service always, and great atmosphere always! I am NEVER disappointed and I enjoy it regularly. Highly recommend.
Breakfast served all day, nice menu selection, large helpings, great prices, nice and tidy. Home made pies? Cajun meat loaf? Yes please! Can be very busy on certain days or times.

First let me start off by saying I have been in the food industry since I was 10 years old, in the 22 years since then I have been to and ate at probably more than 5000 different restaurants, bar and grills, and diners. By far this one stood out the most for me. Not only was the food amazing, the price was awesome for the amount of food given, and the menu items was one heck of a list. From every review and story i had heard about this place everyone of them was true!! Service was outstanding, definitely reminds me of the old school mom and pop diners. 10/10 would highly recommend any day. They definitely live up to the hype. Very calm and collected atmosphere definitely a place to bring the family or a great group of friends to just sit down and relax and enjoy company. I will definitely be back!! The food was authentic it wasn't your normal precooked stuff it was real no powdered eggs, no pre-made pancakes, no microwaved bacon it's the real deal folks and that'll definitely be one diner I will go out of my way to go to anytime I'm near Lincoln.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly would bring my kids anytime!!
