We were looking for a quick lunch after arriving back in town at LNK. As vegans, we are used to limited options, but typically Asian food accommodates our needs. Plus, our typical spots were closed. Our server was pretty new, so it was tough to get answers to questions but not her fault. We were not served rice & salad until we asked for it, though it was part of the meal. The food was just okay. Might be better for meat eaters and sushi lovers, but we would not likely return or recommend.Vegetarian options: They can substitute fried tofu for other proteins for an additional fee. I am not sure why it should cost more to sub tofu for beef, chicken or fish. Oddly, they have 2 out of 4 dishes in the Vegetable section that have ground beef and ground chicken in them and those dishes cannot be made without the meat.

Hiro 88 is one of the best Chinese/Japanese fusion restaurants I’ve ever been to in Lincoln! My favorite entree is their crispy garlic beef! Also their fried rice and lo mein are great too! On the sushi side their sashimi, nigiri, and sushi roll options are outstanding and the fish is always very fresh, smells great and is delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their dishes! I highly recommend stopping here if you get the chance!

Girl manager with karen hair cut would give us dirty looks while we were eating . It felt very intimidating while eating, she would just sit and stare while making faces. I felt rushed as she was cleaning our table while we were taking bites. I don’t appreciate this behavior at all, I don’t feel comfortable going back anymore, too bad the birthday cake was that good, anyway, if that lady is working that day just save yourself the happiness and go somewhere else. It was good times when the manager with no front tooth was there, I loved his mannerism and professionalism.

Food is great and comes out timely. But, that’s if you are able to get a server to even come to your table. I’ve been here twice recently when there are maybe 3 tables out of the whole restaurant with people. The servers are sitting at the bar talking about Dunkin’ Donuts and bagel bites while I have been here for 30 minutes and haven’t been spoken to once. Manager has made eye contact with me multiple times and has done nothing

Our shrimp dishes were tasty & generously portioned,the Hiro crunch roll delicious. The Italian Pinot Grigio & Asahi were disappointing, but, as my husband says, not Hiro's fault. Overall, we liked our dinner & will return.

If you’re looking for terrible service and sub par sushi this is the place for you! I’ve with held my reviews on this establishment due to not wanting to tarnish my friends former place of employment. I have frequented hiro88 in the haymarket for the past 2 years, what I’ve noticed is that the establishment has a very high turn over rate for employees. I have had to inform employees how to make simple drinks, where bottles are or to even get a napkin and chopsticks. As of a couple days ago I was informed Friends and Family of employees are No Longer aloud to sit at the bar as well! They let there best bartender go due to this new rule. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences at this establishment from bugs in my drink to even being forgotten about while waiting for my food. Good luck to you if you wish to try this place and watch out for Chadwick he’s not very nice to the employees.

Absolutely my favorite place to get sushi in Lincoln! Everytime I order the food not only tastes amazing but is presented so wonderfully! My only issue has been when ordering on the app it does not always tell you when your orders done, but are always friendly on the phone when you call and check!Vegetarian options: I saw that there was a option option but did not order it myselfDietary restrictions: They have plenty of options for dietary restrictions including gluten!

We went to Hiro88 for dinner after a movie on New Year's Eve. The food was OK, not great and it took us roughly 48 minutes to get done so it felt a little bit rushed. Appetizer came out after salad which isn't ideal. Little disappointing for a New Year's Eve meal, but it would be great for fast food.

We went at 11:30 on a Sunday and it was at least 15 minutes till anyone came to talk to us at our table. We had out of town guests which is so frustrating. Food was very good. Service was unremarkable.

We didn't end up eating after waiting at our table for over 15 mins without a server even greeting us (there was only 4 tables with people seated) and then the table next to is was seated and helped right away ( we still hadn't been talked to. We let. And went to Blue Sushi. Great service there!!

Had a great meal with my partner and I, visiting from Chicago. Had dinner with a relative and we were there later than everyone. Despite the staff no doubt wanting us to finish up and leave, they never did the evil eye thing you can get sometimes and we're very gracious. Food was very good and portions good sized.

Got sat down at a dirty table and the seats were sticky. My original server was really nice but there was a shift change and she needed to leave. The new male server we got was okay but I did not appreciate his comments about the server before him. Not sure if he was trying to be funny to get a tip since he didn’t take our order or serve us our food, but he made disrespectful comments about his coworkers. He stalked off for quite a while and all we needed was to pay for our food. After some time, we decided to go to the front desk to pay for our food, which I have seen other people do before. The girl at the front gave me a dirty look and said “I think your server can help you with that,” and went back to chatting with her other coworkers. I sat back down and waited for another 10 minutes just to pay for my food. The restaurant was maybe 25% full and they were fully staffed. The food was good, but not good enough to write off bad customer service.
