This is by far the best place I have ever had pho. It's SO amazing. I seriously would get this s*** once a week!! And now it's closed and I think I might die. Anyways, 10/10 would recommend. I miss you

Have not been to this spot in over a year. My Lincoln Office went to work from home well over a year ago, so I had not been to Lincoln for some time. Now that we are all back in, I get to work out of my Lincoln Office one day week. So many restaurants went out of business, but I am glad that this one survived. I was very happy to stop by and see the dining room full. I come here for the Pho. Best in Lincoln...and I have tried several. On this visit, I ordered the #3 Pho Tai Chin - eye round steak and well done brisket. My friend ordered the shrimp lo mein. My pho dish came out smelling amazing. The broth was spot on as was all the "fixins". Great bowl of deliciousness. Satisfying portions. The lo mein looked great. No skimping here. My friend advised that the shrimp was fresh and the noodles were drenched just right. Vegetables were fresh and there was a nice balance to the dish. This little gem is tucked into a strip mall, so don't be fooled by appearances. The dining room is quaint. Family owned, the service is great. I will be continuing to experience House of Hunan as my go to in Lincoln when Pho is in order.

I have my go to in Colorado, Hawaii and France... but glad to see the House of Hunan was really up there in my top 5. Don't let the name of the restaurant fool you, it's mostly Vietnamese food. We were driving through NE on our way home and there are many other places people recommend... but upon further digging into articles written about pho in Lincoln, this place really stood out. Price was reasonable and the food was delicious. Most of all, the broth of the pho is what got me really wanting to leave a review for this place. Really savory, really memorable, and it just somehow hits my palate so well that I'm still dreaming about this place, 3 weeks later. This is where the Vietnamese people go for good pho in Lincoln, at least that's what I read. I LOVE that they serve the spring rolls with warmed peanut sauce, nobody else does that, at least not where I've been. Initially I thought $7.25 was a little steep for spring rolls but it came with 4 of them than your typical 2-3... and it's decently sized. I wished I had ordered the medium sized pho cuz the broth was to die for and even though I was so full after the small bowl, I was left wanting more... I will definitely be back to The House of Hunan next time I'm in Lincoln and I'd be sure to tell all my friends the same. Great COVID protocol and all the tables have hand sanitizer. Gosh can the owners move to Colorado?! Drool!

Personally I come here for their Hú Tiểu because it is the only place in Nebraska that can do it broth wise right. There is always one best traits to a menu and this is one of all. That's my opinion vs rest.

vietnamese food and the atmosphere here is quality. Food with real quality ingredients. The staff was sociable and attentive. Prices are fair I would say.

The food is amazing but today this server was extremely rude. We always go there to eat and asked for a to go order and we ask for a small container for the hot sauce it has never been an issue today my mom was serving the hot sauce in the small container the server approached the table took it away from my mom dumped it back in the hot sauce container from the table we were eating at and told her she couldn’t do that. Why give the customer a small hot sauce container if you can’t get the hot sauce to go and to grab it out of her hands terrible service!

This place literally has the best pho I've ever had and I've had pho from NH, MA, CO, NE, and CA. The only con would be they haven't made a veggie broth for pho, i mean they have onion broth though. but literally hands down my favorite pho. Get the combination one and wow.

THIS PLACE DESERVES 5 STARS the broth is a down to earth, soup for the soul. One sip of this running down your throat that warmth beef broth just going down and you feel that warmth down in your chest you know that you tasted the best pho Lincoln has to offer and I mean it there nice, humble, quick service and very friendly. There water is pretty good as well. This pho place is a must try a solid 10/10. Portions are big and very good for its price there small is medium and large well its pretty big for a large this place deserves 5stars nothing less then that

I ordered two orders of shrimp fried rice, one no eggs, an a order of crab Rangoon. There were eggs on BOTH of the meals, the crab Rangoon were burnt, and the cream cheese spoiled!! I return the crab rangoon, and they opted to remake the rice, which was fine. However, instead of giving me fried rice( or frying it) I was giving steamed rice with shrimp and vegetables... all I wanted was shrimp fried rice, not STEAMED!! After returning it once, why bother again?? I WONT BE BACK!!
