We stayed at the Cornhusker hotel and visited the pub and grill twice. The first time was for appetizers and drinks. We had nachos and cheese curds. Someone in our party said the cheese curds were the best they’ve ever had. During our second visit, it was late at night and we had a few drinks. One of us wanted a hot chocolate with a shot of rum chata. We weren’t sure if the bar would make a hot chocolate but they did it for us! Would return!

It was a great environment and everything. It was difficult to find the entrance but that was probably just user error. We had to wait a little bit for our server but I think that it was just a scheduling error as it seemed they only had one. The food was good and overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Food was cold.Grilled cheese was more like "cheese on bread". It looked like it had been melted in the past and then sat out for a couple of hours. It was cold and bland.I don't know how anyone can look at that and think it was ok to send out to a customer.It's honestly really disappointing.Fish was ok. Not bad, not good. Nothing special, but it was edible.Cheesecake had a similar vibe to the grilled cheese. Edges were old, they were starting to harden and dry out.I assume they bought it at the store, but I'm not sure. It tasted identical to the cheesecake I buy from the grocery.I wouldn't feed this to the birds, much less a paying customer.

In town for the daughter’s birthday and she chose this place. Went in with no preconceived notions, left with some strong opinions. First, the place was clean, parking was easy, the ambiance was good, and food was pretty good. And then….wait at the front was pretty long considering only about 4 tables were occupied. The waitress really set the tone though. When taking our drink order, she told my daughter and her boyfriend “If you two think you’re going to be drinking, you better get your IDs ready” in the rudest way possible. Both are over 21 and always ready to show ID when asked. I wish I could say it got better, but it didn’t.
