One of the best South Indian restaurants in the States. The food is incredible tasty and always reminds me of home. Fabulous service and very comfortable environment to dine-in

Not good. Get anything else in town. My vindaloo was sweet, watery and I threw my leftovers away. It tasted super sweet. Almost like they used tomato soup. I don't like giving negative reviews, but I make better Indian food at home. Walmart has better vindaloo in a jar. The tiki masala was better. Passable. But just go to tandoori or the oven instead.

I think they have the best lamb vindaloo in Lincoln. I love the spiciness that is just right for this dish. We also ordered lamb korma, it's ok. I would come back for the buffet.

Best Indian food in Lincoln, NE hands down. Service is very kind and good prices for good quality food. Also has decent portions. Wide variety of vegetarian and vegan foods as well, samosas are outstanding.Highly recommend!

Lamb is halal but chicken is not :( Dal still needs to be cooked. Rice is overcooked.

Ordered take out a few nights ago, good price and portions, we had Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Samosas and Garlic Naan. The samosas had good flavor and not greasy, decent naan but to me seemed more like a roti. The flavor was good but to me seemed like the sauce wasn't cooked in long enough and tasted a bit like unfiltered curry powders etc. I see they have a large menu so maybe will try something else next time Aloo Gobi will be the next test.

I got Chicken Masala, Chicken, Vindaloo, Lamb Chettinad, Chicken 65, and garlic naan and it was all fantastic. Amazing food at great prices. I highly recommend.

The food is great. The service is just okay. The customer communication sucks. Everyone says to try the weekend buffet, but what would have been REALLY helpful is if ANYONE (especially the restaurant's website) had managed to mention: It's only on Saturdays and Sunday from 11 AM until 2:30 PM. "Weekend buffet" doesn't always imply Sat + Sun, and it sure as heck doesn't imply that it's a lunch-only buffet. I don't live close. I went out of my way to try the buffet, so I could sample a bunch of different items at once. Made reservations a week in advance for the weekend, drove all the way out there, and I still can't tell you about the buffet because it wasn't open. :-/

The food on this Indian buffet is great. If you are craving some Indian food for a buffet, here's the place; Mughil's Indian Cuisine in Lincoln, Nebraska! A+

The order was messed up and when the waiter talked to the cook they said they couldn't do anything since the food was already served. I understand that miss communication happens but in my opinion they should have found a solution instead of telling us they can't take the food back and get us what we wanted.. It was my first time eating there and the food was wasted. The server was nice and understanding but he couldn't do anything about it.

Three is a generous rating. I've had a lot of Indian in a lot of cities, states and countries and this is on the poorer side of what I've eaten. This including a truck stop in Overton NE. Watery sauces made fast with little depth. The vindaloo is watery and slightly sweet (I've never had sweet vindaloo (and I do not recommend it) with no depth and it's not piquant (lemony) at all, nor were there any more than two slices of potatoes, the trademarks of vindaloo. It had a lot of red pepper spice and just tasted extremely acid ,like a heavy vinegar and tomato base... and the gravy is translucent reddish brown. The chicken was tender and moist. Rice was also very plain, no whole spices added while making were detectable. The cauliflower veggie dish is chewy and tasty but more along the lines of something you might want as an appetizer, or at the state fair. It was heavy, sticky and more dry. Butter chicken also very watery and low on depth of flavor. Samosas are average and so is the garlic naan. The mint chutney was salty with spice but also bland and extra watery. They could do much better with a little more time making their sauces higher quality, layered with more flavor and using real lemons and some cilantro where appropriate.

Food was average. The dosas we ordered was out flat cold and was not even crispy enough. The chutneys and sambhar they provided with it was also not freshly made but rather very cold or as if it was reused from previous day.I think the owners have changed and they rebranded the place but that won't help if they won't keep their food quality standards high. The furniture also needs to be remodeled as so many seating booths were having torn leather fabric.Needs to improve a lot!

Wife and I have been to this restaurant multiple times. The food is out standing every time. We also came for the Saturday buffet. It had a good variety of and we tried a little of everything and it was all good. I recommend that people should try this place out.

My husband and I tried Mughil's tonight for the first time. We ordered Baigan (eggplant) Masala, Mysore Masala Dosa (pictured), and garlic naan. Their menu is so extensive that we had difficulty choosing and will definitely come back to try something different. The wait staff was prompt, attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Will definitely visit, again.
