Sadly it's gone for good. Excellent service, great atmosphere and incredible food. From the tiny chocolate chips in the mint chip shake to the over-easy egg on the Huevos Ranchero burger, clearly one of the best burger joints around.Sorry I didn't make it there more often.Oh, and deep-fried tater tots instead of fries. Heck yes! We're gonna miss you.

Once I tried the burgers here it instantly became my favorite burger spot in Lincoln and maybe anywhere I've been so far. Unfortunately I didn't go as much last year but I'll miss the amazing food and owners!

I had dinner here because a friend took me here. I am so glad he did. The first thing I noticed is the way the restaurant is decorated. I was amused to see a cutout of Chevy Chase from Christmas Vacation in December. I ordered the meltaway burger expecting something similar to the mushroom and swiss burger from Runza. I also had tater tots for the side because tater tots are superior to fries! Somehow, they made a burger that is better than the mushroom and swiss burger from Runza. The bread, the beef, the mushroom, and the cheese were all amazing. The tater tots were good too. I am looking forward to returning to Nitro Burger to try another burger and one of their shakes next time. I highly recommend this place.

The burgers are delicious and huge. Sweet potato fries are a must. Will have to save room for a shake or float with their homemade icecream next time.

Awesome, Awesome! The burgers and sides were delicious and even a sweet little message on the to go boxes. HUGE portions too! Love it!

The GoodExcellent shakes and fries. You can’t beat a shake made from hard serve ice cream. The Westery-style burger checked all the boxes. The BadThe bean burger was under seasoned, overcooked, and reminded us of refried beans with some black beans added. The sweet potato fries were almost burnt with no seasoning. We ate in and there were alternating scents of cleaning chemicals and bathroom.VerdictWe would order fries and shakes to go but will get burgers elsewhere in the future.

My hamburger was extremely rare. The prices are high and the food was not that good. I wanted to love it but was disappointed.

It's a shame to give a bad review because this place looks kinda neat but everything about the food was weird and it felt like this must be what prison food tastes like. The worst part has to be the patty itself.. You can even see in other peoples pictures on here that they're the driest things on earth and burnt to a crisp. I don't even know how you can make a patty so dry, I've had burnt burgers that were more juicy than these so it leads me to believe that they're using the lowest quality hamburger meat they cant find and not cooking it well. On top of this, every thing you get has some weird aspect to it. You can't get normal ketchup, it has some gross spice to it, I got a ranch for my tots and it was literally as thick as sour cream (you could tip the little tub of it upside down and it seriously would not spill out) and it was totally bland and had no ranch flavor at all so it was odd.. You can't get a cup of water, you have to buy a bottle of water, and bottles of soda.... I saw some people play a few songs on the jukebox and it literally cut the songs that they paid for short and they were confused lol. The decor was kinda cool but then half of the place looks like a flea market.. There's like randomly some flea market living room set in the middle of the place and cardboard cutouts of movie characters for some reason. then half of the building is closed off and has a bunch of storage stuff.. The service at mcdonalds is better than this place and the food as well, which I never thought I would say about any restaurant... It shouldn't be this hard to make a burger taste decent, I couldn't even finish half of it because it was so weird...

Omg! This is the best burger place I've found! Huge portions, good flavor, friendly service awesome place in general. The place has like a 60's/70's diner feel to it, with cardboard cutouts of some of your favorite movie characters. Highly recommended!

I was so excited to try Nitro Burger has it’s been around for quite awhile. I’ve always wondered why the parking lot is always empty and today still had me wondering why. The greeting was great, food was good, but the menu seemed empty for a burger specialty restaurant. 6 burgers and no other options? The shake list was really impressive though! Cute decor but modernized for the 1950s theme they were going for.

Great burgers and better service! The unusual and varied burger offerings were impressive, as was the wide selection of shake flavors.
