We love The Other Room. We live five hours away and still make it a priority to stop by The Other Room any time we are in Lincoln (2-3 times per year).The drink menus are always very thoughtfully designed and the drink profiles are creative and sophisticated. The staff are continuously cool and we’ve often met great people while hanging out there.Highly recommend.

Choose literally any other bar to have a better time and save some money. There’s no reason for you to make yourself endure this places snobbery and abismal service. It’d be more enjoyable to get a shoulder massage from Edward Scissor Hands than to get a drink here.Update: There was never a time I acted inappropriately (like a clown) nor was I denied service by your establishment. Your staff was publicly extremely rude to me. Never before in my life have I been shouted at by a bartender and told that my laugh was annoying in front of 20ish other patrons. Not only this, but when I tried to resolve it, I was mocked by your team in the reviews.I’m angry, because I was publicly embarrassed by your staff and then when I tried to get clarity, I was ignored and sarcastically mocked. I left these reviews, because I would hate for people to be treated the way I was by your staff. All I can do is leave reviews, so that’s what I did.All I needed was, “I’m sorry, as a bartender I wanted to keep a specific environment for this space, but I over reacted and spoke disrespectfully to you”. Had that been said I would’ve apologized for not knowing the rules. But instead after I approached the bartender he was rude a second time, and then my reviews were met with sarcasm, elitism, and rudeness. I was fully prepared to remove my 1 star reviews, but your team doubled down AGAIN!So they will stay up, and I will consider other avenues I can bring awareness to this behavior.

It's a great space. Unfortunately the staff is arrogant, rude and off-putting, even if you carefully follow the numerous mandates that are imposed on you as a condition of entry. I think it's possible to be pretentious without being discourteous, but the dude-bros staffing The Other Room haven't figured out how yet. Avoid.

The Other Room It's tiny, cozy, and feels like a well-kept secret. The intimate atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing evening out. The cocktails are top-notch, and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a unique and exclusive experience, this is the place to be.

June 3, 2023So this is one of my favorite lil but Fabulous places to duck into while visiting Haymarket District. Fantastic craft cocktails with comfortable quaint seating definitely capturing that speakeasy vibe. Look for the green light, if it's red keep walking. Once inside you'll be transported to a different era.

No food there, but they make THE BEST cocktails in Lincoln! Love love it there. Only comment is they could upgrade the chairs. Some are comfy & some are most certainly back breakers.

You may not expect there to be an upscale, intimate speakeasy nestled in a downtown Lincoln alley, but there is — and it’s wonderful! Great service, wonderful drinks that are well-balanced, and a menu that thoroughly describes the different attributes of each drink. It’s cash only, but they have an ATM inside. Come here for a fun but quiet cocktail experience!

What an incredible craft cocktail speakeasy-inspired bar. After you find (and get granted access to enter) it’s such a blast from the past. Love the intimate setting and extensive cocktail menu. You can use their ATM if you didn’t bring cash with you.
