This is one of our favorite dinner spots in Lincoln! The food is incredible everytime. We usually have the lamb dish, the vegan combo, and the sambusa for an appetizer. So full of flavor and Cleary made with love. One of the greatest joys of eating here is the teff injera bread that comes with everything, we crave it!

It is a quiet and cozy restaurant with a homey feel. The food is amazing. There are so many layers of flavors and truly something for everyone. The prices are super affordable too!
Tiru was absolutely delicious. Our server was polite and informative. The only thing the restaurant was missing was Ethiopian music but I hardly noticed since we went with a group and talked anyway! It was clean, including the bathroom! I will return!

This place had been on my list of places for a while now. A friend and I shared the Tiru special and key wot was my favorite part. Everything was delicious for sure and I recommend getting the special to be able to try more things. Next time, I’ll get just the key wot because I liked it SO MUCH.The vibe was quiet and chill which I love and the waitress was so kind and helpful. Cannot wait to go back!

I love Tiru so much! It is such a treat to have the delicious vegan platter. They are so kind and truly never disappoint! One of my top favorite restaurants of all time.
It was my first time having Ethiopian food and i will definitely be coming back. The food was great and it was a good quality for the price. To the people here complaining about the food taking a long time, just go to McDonald’s up the street next time where you belong. When we were there, it was just one person taking orders and cooking and she had hustle.

Great place to eat in Lincoln. We ordered the Tiru special which had a great variety of Ethiopian foods, all of which were delicious and perfect for two people. Make sure you start with hot tea and the lentil soup. The bill for two of us was $33, making this a great bargain. Give this place a try.Parking: There are easily 10 spots for parking in front of the restaurant, with more parking on the street.
I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. This is my favorite place to eat. The taste is out of this world. You must try this place if you have not. Tiru is 100 out of 5 stars.
