Me and my girlfriend are new to the area and wanted to try some local food and decided on this place after reading a few reviews of good service, good food, and generous portions. Upon arrival the place seemed nice but the issues arose when it was apparent we were new and the other customers made it clear with the attitude and glares that we weren't the type to be expected there. It was a slightly uncomfortable setting but we decided we'd still try the food and only chose a single croissant sandwich with a side of hashbrowns to split between us (as the other reviews stated they gave out very good portions). After ordering we overheard the staff criticizing our choice to not order much and simply wanting to try out the food. while nothing may have been explicitly said about us, we still felt incredibly judged by the staff and customers. The food was insanely greasy it tasted alright, but the other reviews are correct on the portions being decently sized. Overall food was okay if you don't mind where you're eating, who you're eating with, and about your heart health, go ahead and visit. Not a good place for younger people and not very welcoming to other types of people (if you know you know??). We will not be coming back.

Well, some folks may disagree about the ambiance and the food selection, this is a great cafe offering generous portions of traditional cafe items for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is certainly welcoming and the staff is on top of their game.
Ordered the chicken and noodlesJust that came out noodles sitting in a little water on the plate boiled chicken chunks no gravy just that no seasoning oh yes no gravy. Correct me but isn't this dish served held together by gravy??. Oh wait there was brown gravy on the mashed potatoes yes brown gravy. You know if there so called cook spent as much time making his food taste like it should as he does with his bantering with the waitress business might get better.

Good old fashioned cafe/diner food. I grew up eating in small town cafes, so if you're looking for all sorts of special items on the menu, this is not your place. If you want good food, that fills you up, stop in here.

I had the 1/2 hot roast beef sandwich.My friend ordered the shrimp basket, I didn't know that you could breadPopcorn shrimp!!!They were smaller than a fish hook otherwise we could have used them for BAIT !VERY DISAPOINTED.
