The hotel is beautiful!!! We were very impressed with the friendly front desk people. Our room was on the 3rd floor and very quiet. It was very clean with with so much space. The bed was super comfortable too. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

I am from the Midwest and appreciate midwestern hospitality. This was not what I got at the front desk, which surprised me. We got into our enormous room that looked very nice until you got up close and realized how filthy it was. I ran my finger over the desk in the room and it was dusty. In the sunlight, it was clear the leather chairs had not been wiped down in decades. They were gross. When we asked for a different room that was not dirty the front desk staff was rude, so we just left and went to the Holiday Inn Express.

This is a great hotel to stay. People are very friendly. I like the fact there is a restaurant on site so you don't have to leave once you get there. The rooms are spacious & cleans, towels are nice. Fridge w/freezer, microwave, & coffee maker in the room. The only (small) drawback is there is no plug in near the bed to charge my phone during the night - which is a very small drawback. However, the BIG plus is the breakfast. There was a huge selection of various items, but the thing is - most were home cooked!!! I never see that at hotels! The star of the show was the individual bread puddings. Strawberry, mango, peach, berry, apple - from what I heard from other travelers, all flavors were delicious!! I know the berry is the best thing I've every had for breakfast. The lady in charge there for breakfast is AWESOME!!! I have to go back soon & stay - just for breakfast!!!

Room are huge, high ceilings, very clean BUT toilet is barely 15” high, that is very, very low, and beds are 45”high - difficult to get into without step stool, which is NOT provided. Plus bathroom has NO night light - you need to bring your own.

My wife and I went back and forth on rating our stay. She said two stars, I felt more generous at three. They are advertised as a lodge, though the only lodge aspect is the entry. The room is nice enough, though the windows could not be opened. The outdoor areas are ok, nothing special. Breakfast was a slight upgrade from your Marriott offering. The Divots brewery and restaurant were closed (Sunday), which was a big disappointment. On the outskirts, so you need to drive a couple miles to get downtown. Clean, but lacked any atmosphere. Not sure why it gets the high rating, just not for us.

Because we were moving the next day, we took our grandkids here for a last overnight visit! What a wonderful time! Kids 11, 7, and 5 enjoyed the pool, met a new friend, and enjoyed their own quarters in the suite! But one of their favorites was the breakfast; my 5-year-old grandson stuffed himself and demanded, "Mom, why can't you cook like this?" to the chagrin of the entire breakfast crew! I fear slipping in a slick shower (knee replacement) and tote my own shower mat...but didn't need to for this overnight visit because one was already provided! We will be back! Towels are plentiful; suite was spotless! In the suite, a mini kitchen is provided (fridge, microwave, coffeepot), certainly a benefit!

This is our second time staying at The Lodge, and both experiences were very good. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are very spacious, and very very clean. My daughter enjoyed using the pool. The pool and hottub were both very good sized. The breakfast choices were fairly limited because of COVID, but what they did have was very good. If you are in this area, the Lodge is an excellent place to stay.

This hotel was priced as an average hotel but the service, the rooms and the overall atmosphere was expensive! Everyone who greeted us was so friendly. They checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect. The 'bagged breakfast' was fantastic! We stayed in the family suite which had bunk beds with a paw patrol theme! My kids went nuts! The king size bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The attached resturant had delicious well priced food. My kids loved the pizza. I wouldn't ever want to stay anywhere else.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Marisa, who was both respectful, upbeat and certainly “knew her stuff”. Our room was a new one, I’d call it country chic. It was gorgeous, complete with terry cloth robes, high-end bedding, and huge tiled shower. Extremely quiet and comfortable....large beautiful windows over looked a cool pasture. We were pleased to be able to order dinner from their Sand Bar n had it delivered to our room. Breakfast to go the next day was the best yet, complete with large gourmet muffins. Yummy! This place has a lot of amenities and is 5*!!! We will be back!!

Too many hotels these days use Covid-19 as an excuse to skimp on breakfast. I fully understand the need for providing a grab-and-go breakfast in a bag but to just provide a bottle of water and a mini-muffin is going too far. Especially when the hotel {of the same class} next to them is providing yogurt, fruit, and a full-size muffin and a bottle of water. Other than breakfast, the hotel is quite nice.
