I'm sorry about this post. But I have ordered take out food over 30 times from here.. the food is always very good from here.. here we go the problem is they can't ever get my order right. No it hasn't been 30 times but at least 15.. I have spoken to them and they are always trying to fix it.. the point is when you order food and pay 40-70 dollars you would expect for them to get it right.. my last order was for two fajitas orders and I paid 38 dollars + tip. But I got two boxes.. I called and asked about it and the kitchen said they got it right.. guess my money is good enough for them my opinion didn't matter.. I have thought about this for weeks since my opinion didn't matter maybe this will..Kid-friendliness: The are always helpful and kind...

The birria was lacking flavor, and there wasn't much meat in a serving. The cheek torta had chunks of fat in it and also didn't have the taste of what I had in Mexico. In my opinion, it's not authentic mexican but more of an American style mexican food. Salsa had too much tomato and hardly any spice.

This was once one of my favorite places to go. Haven't been in a while but it has definitely changed. 1st the jalapeño margarita is not the same. It used to ne clear now it's like they put some kind of cream in it. Then the service, WOW! Our waiter was not very attentive nor did he seem to care for his job. Lastly the food when I'm paying for my family to eat you bring what we asked for. I understand mistakes are made but do not be cheap and try to adjust the same plate when you made the mistake. Specifically said no jalapeños on my food because I knew how many would be put on. Yet when my plate as well as my son's comes out boom an entire mountain of jalapeños. No remorse for them messing up yet I should pay according to them. Just another place in the great city of Norfolk to not return to. To bad. We'll just save our family and friends eat outs for out of town.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! NEWLY REMODELED ONE OF THE #1's in Norfolk! The Owner is in the kitchen & On the floor! The staff is great and they take constructive criticism if and when needed! They are good to my crew and I don't bring a small crowd.. I'd definitely recommend this place with children or without. Birthdays are great they can & do make a treat for ya and make it special! Go try it out I promise you
