The food was TERRIBLE!!!!!! The chicken was burnt, dry and no flavor! The broccoli was way over seasoned( couldn’t even eat it!) I’ll never be back! Don’t waste your money!!!!!

I was delighted with the lunch specials: half sandwich and cup of soup for $5.99 plus a half brownie & scoop of ice cream covered with hot fudge for another $1!! Exactly enough for my light lunch appetite while traveling!!

My granddaughter had a doctors appointment in North Platte we live 2 hours away so I took them to a restaurant that my wife and I used to enjoy the drinks where slow in coming got talked out of a 3.49 mac and cheese into a 7 dollar box mac and cheese for my granddaughter ordered appetizers came out after my granddaughter had finished eating and cold I ordered the burger lunch special qnd my daughter got the more expensive neighborhood burger I had more meat on mine then she did and it was supposed to be a double patty came out tiny patty and burnt waitress never asked how we wanted our burgers took a hour and a half to get them the she says you want me to refire them I was like we live 2 hours from here and need to get home she said so what do you want me to do then bad enough poor quality food but the service and the entire vibe of the restaurant where just sad doubt we'll be back also for the love of God fix the beer keg system been broke for a year and your wasting more beer and taste terrible than fixing it my daughters drink had way to much alcohol in it cut back on the booze and make a decent size hamburger patty

Showed up at 8 ish. Waited 40 mins for a table. Place was not real busy. We were seated across from an elderly women who just got her food. It appeared her appetizers came with her main course. We waited another hour or so for our order. In the meantime we filled the void talking to the lady seated across from us who ultimately ended up paying for our entire meal. She was wonderful. She's a food critic. Traveling across the US, doing her thing. If it weren't for this lady sitting across from us, we would have left an hour before our food showed up. The waitresses were very rude to her. Even after she identified herself. In particular, the older waitress..her bottom row of teeth look like a solid chunk..she was so damn rude to this lady. She rolled her eyes many times at this older customer and appeared to intimidate the younger waitress, who was in training, into not taking a tip. If this is the nightshift manager, she needs a new job. Food was good. Service was absolutely terrible. Applebee's..it appears you need a change in management. This night was not a good look for you. Went there on a very slow Tuesday for lunch it took forever to get our drinks and our appitzer was cold and then it seened like a long waite for a couple of Burger. Will not return to that

We stopped in, knowing it was a Sunday and that there may be a wait. However, there were quite a few empty tables. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait. There were two couples ahead of us. One of the couples was seated, then an older couple came in with 2 teenage boys. They were told of the wait, the hostess then told the couple before us it would ONLY be 5 more minutes until they would be seated. When the older gentleman was questioning why the wait with all the open tables, he asked if they were short help. The hostess replied that there was plenty of wait staff and servers, they just didn't want to overwhelm the kitchen....SERIOUSLY!!!I then stood up, said we was leaving because we sure didn't want to overwhelm the kitchen. We then went to Ruby Tuesday, was promptly seated and waited on and had an enjoyable meal. We will not be returning to Applebee's.
