The ice cream here is always great and the slice of pie was HUGE. I asked for just a small scoop of ice cream so that's why the ratio of pie to ice cre is off in the pic. The service is always wonderful when we are and they don't mind you asking lots of questions. They are eager and patient to answer questions!

Oh man, Dounle Dips is definitely worth a stop off the interstate on a family road trip. The ice cream is top rate, the setting is charming, and the prices are reasonable. And don't miss the fudge, "freshly made with cream and butter".

We found this gem of an ice cream parlor on Yelp. And, are so happy we found it!!! While driving down I 80, we thought to stop somewhere for dessert. Double dips came up. The ice cream shop is adorable, spacious, clean, and inviting. Iris in a corner. Finding parking was easy. The server was adorable and friendly. Our ice desserts were delicious!!!I highly recommend pulling off to enjoy a treat at this small business.

We were staying in the area for the night and wanted some ice cream. So glad we did. Loved the atmosphere and the ice cream was amazing. We love our ice cream and ride a motorcycle. Can’t go for a ride without an ice cream stop lol. This was some of the best we have eaten and then to have it in an actual glass cup was a nice touch.
Always love going in for dessert here! Personal favorite is the Buffalo Bill Sundae. The "Ice creamologists" are always welcoming and pleasant. Would definitely highly recommend as a great dessert stop!

We enjoyed our treats at Double Dips. It appears to be a popular fixture in North Platte. There are a number of ice cream selections, some looked new to me. There is a small dining area with tables and chairs. The staff was helpful and friendly.The store looks clean and well kept up.I look forward to trying other treats here next time we pass through North Platte.
