One of the best Japanese restaurants you will ever eat at. Whether you like sushi or hot cooked food. Everything is so good.
The food was exceptional. Everything was beautifully presented, and tasted delicious. The service was great, friendly and attentive. We arrived as they opened at 11 am on a Thursday, and within 15-20 minutes the place was packed. This is obviously a very popular restaurant.We live a couple hours from North Platte, and only go there occasionally. So glad we decided to have lunch at Tempura. The two of us ordered two appetizers and two sushi rolls to share. We had avocado balls and jalapeno bullet, the Lincoln roll and the North Platte. All with hot green tea, and followed by complimentary green tea ice cream and a fortune cookie.A wonderful treat making our long drive for errands well worth the trip. Can hardly wait til next time to try other menu items. It was hard to choose, so many options that sound very good!

Visited day before Christmas, the floor was covered with food. Egg drop soup was the most disgusting color and consistency and overloaded with starch. Mapo tofu was a greasy mess and the rice was undercooked. Our server was great though, but the food was nasty.Please remove the sign from your door that says “oriental”, this is so derogatory, its 2024 people.

Tempura is great and I get that it’s the day after Christmas but at least say on your online schedule that you won’t be open. Cause for me it’s saying that you are open till 9:30
