Great food and very reasonably priced. Waitstaff was extremely friendly/ family atmosphere with the usual regulars. Had books for the kids to read with kids menus inside to occupy them during the wait. Amazing experience. Thank you so much.

Absolutely the quintessential classic dinner experience! Waitresses remind me of family and the food is solid! Absolute go-to for breakfast and they are open early. This is the spot for dinner food that will remind you of your grandma's home cooking!

Fun collection of coffee cups, real creamer and hot coffee. We are off to a good start. Local place with local color. Even an outsider is treated like a local and made to feel at home. Asked our waitress what she recommended and she presented something not on the menu. The Scrambler! The Scrambler is the loaded hashbrowns (ordered mine extra crispy)with two eggs to order, two pieces of toast, and a meat side. I got bacon(four strips), and my buddy got the sausage patty which I was instantaneously jealous of! It made a famous burger chain burger look like a slider. Super good breakfast, super good coffee, and great smiles from the customers and staff. A great way to start the day in North Platte.

The Lincoln Highway diner was a place from the past. I can't believe people complain about the service and other reviews because our coffee cup was always full and our sodas topped off. The homemade bread was outstanding as toast. The pancake was fluffy and scrumptious melted in your mouth. After reading the Lincoln Highway book and then eating in the diner on the Lincoln highway it was very cool. There were lots of muscle cars out front and again it's not fancy but the food is on point. They do breakfast and lunch. They close at 2pm. It's a mix of locals and tourist passing through to Chicago. Highly recommend

Good old fashioned diner. Good service and good home cooked food. Place was pumping with locals.

It was a good stop, could use some fixing up, but the food was good. Full of locals. Waitress might have been having a tough day, not overly friendly. Will choose another option on our way back through.

Very very great service, fast and friendly, I got the chicken fried steak and it was the Worst I’ve ever had couldn’t even eat half of it. maybe a off day, wife got the corn beef and hash, was much better then mine. All in all a great place to eat but maybe not the CFS. You won’t leave hungry even if you only eat half the meal. 0 stars for the CFS and 5 stars for the rest.

Good old fashion diner with great service and fine food. Small locally supported diner adds to the atmosphere.

Great breakfast! Wish I had got the biscuits and gravy, they looked amazing.

My wife and I like to stop at Mom and Pop restaurants when we travel. We searched on-line for resturants in Lincoln and up popped LHD. It exceeded our expectations. Food was tasty and prices resonaable.

The combos are weak as far as selection. To get eggs bacon, biscuits and gravy was $20... and honestly it tasted like McDonald's gravy (not good). All in all I wasnt impressed by anything there.

My favorite place to go when visiting NP. The food and customer service is amazing! They have good chicken fried steak, pancakes ? & French toast, sourdough bread, and pie. I also like their salad bar. We usually go there with our family when in town and they accommodate us very well. Definitely recommend ?

Really good chicken fried steak. We try cfs everywhere we go and this one did not disappoint. The gravy is really good. Pancakes are huge as well as biscuits and gravy portion. Definitely recommend if u r passing through this town.
