Breakfast hash brown casserole was really good. French toast and waffle was enjoyed by daughter and her friend. Server was very friendly and attentive. If I am back in Omaha, I will go again!

I just ate here the food was delicious my waitress on the other hand did not provide good service just do to the fact she never asked me how the food was never even engaged set my check down in front of me before I was done eating in a manner they made me feel like she didn’t want to serve me. I had to ask another server to cash me out because that’s how bad she was ignoring me. She wasn’t busy because she had time to stand and talk about her poor customer service experience at hobby lobby while providing poor customer service skills at her own job. I tipped her because I feel like she thought I wouldn’t and that’s why she treated me like that but I’ll never dine in again

THIS is a Cafe! The definition of the American classic. Great food served quickly and efficiently. All the dishes you expect at a very pleasant price.I will return often. Do your self a favor and stop in. You will realize the national chains are so inferior to a properly run local restaurant. AJ's deserves its 5

Overall a wonderful neighborhood diner plenty of tasty meal options.Great guest service by the waitresses getting water / coffee refills and the staff was helping get the meals from the kitchen to customers quickly.... Fast service !

Wonderful little hometown-style cafe. Good food friendly servers. Pleasant atmosphere. The only problem is that it’s not secret, so it’s usually very busy especially on Saturday mornings (the day I typically go).

I am not one who typically writes reviews but I cannot let this pass. AJ’s made us feel so welcome and the food was so good. They appear to have many local “regulars” but they made us feel like we truly belonged there and were part of their family! I had the hot beef sandwich and my wife had the beef potato soup and we talked about how good they were all the way back to West O! We will certainly be back (many times!)

Food was great, as was the value. We were able to get a table right away, but the place stayed packed the whole time we were there. There were people waiting when we left, too. I would plan for a short wait. Also, the place is cash only, but they do have an ATM available. Lots of selections for traditional American breakfast. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
