Top notch dining in Omaha. The tasting menu is a good bet, and gives you a great array of their best dishes. Get a reservation early as they fill up. Definitely in the top 5 eateries in Omaha.

The food was good overall. The place was cozy and the staffs were friendly. Giving it 4 stars, as I'm not sure if the dishes were as good as the price (~$300 / 3 glasses of cocktail ordered). Also, there weren't much food and I didn't feel full at all after.

We did the tasting menu. 6 courses with won pairings. One of the most incredible food experiences of my life. Top to bottom...superb! The service was also top notch. Zero complaints!

We recently dined here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We showed up at the time of our reservation, yet were still made to wait over 30 minutes before being seated. No complementary gesture was made.We had a nice experience after that. We ordered everything on the menu. The food was overall impressive. The flavors were well-balanced and well-presented. The pasta stood above the rest. Their drink menu is well-calibrated. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and proficient, paying an appropriate amount of attention to us.The proportions are small and relatively expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

The food is a crap shoot sometimes its good sometimes it feels as if they are trying to hard and pulling recipes out of nowhere and the whole thing is just over done, with too much going on etc. Last night had a very bad experience cant say we enjoyed any of the items we ordered of the menu none of it would i recommend. On top of that the place crams clientele in like sardines and the ambiance is rubbing shoulder to shoulder with who is sitting next to you overhearing every loud conversation in the room and being unable to hear your date sitting directly in front of you. I think the good reviews are based on the novelty and trendiness of this place because it really isnt all that great at all.

My new favorite Birthday dinner location. It's an elevated dining experience you must try. Perfect for a dinner with a live show next door at the Benson Theater. My kids acted like they were going to hate it because the menu is a bit fancy but we had them order something off of each course and everything was excellent.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Omaha and one of my favs ever. Very cool antique space with some of the most creative and delicious food. Recommend the chef’s tasting menu if you’re inclined but just know that anything you order will be unreal. Awesome wine options and very clever drink specials, paired with the music playing. The only tough part about this place is getting in. Just plan ahead, spaces fill up quick as it’s my immediate go to, but times aren’t always available as it’s an intimate space. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Had been very excited to try Au Courant. Ended up happy but mildly disappointed.Chovys Egg - 6.8Charcuterie - 8.7Capelletti - 8.3Steelhead Trout - 8.4Strip - 8.3Entremet - 8.5Most of the courses were very well executed. Particularly liked the Charcuterie, which was simple and executed very well. The trout and entremet were both very solid as well.Unfortunately, we found the six courses to be only a little filling, which is not our typical experience with tasting menus. The flavors were pleasant, but nothing that was particularly wow-ing.Ultimately, we were happy with the experience, but it fell short of our expectations. We will likely go again, but it will not be a priority.Dietary restrictions: They are EXTREMELY accommodating of dietary restrictions. Can't recommend enough on this front.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Omaha. | Chef's tasting menu with wine pairing a must | Warm and inviting space and staff | Chef led menu delivers something new, unexpected and memorable.

This is an old review - but I figured with Valentine's right around the corner why not post it!I've been wanting to try Au Courant for quite some time, and seeing as I waited just a hair too long to make my Valentine's reservations, I was happy to see Courant still had some late-night tables open.To start things off, the location was perfect. A Valentine's feast, with an adult entertainment store right across the street? How much better can it getThe atmosphere inside the building is fantastic. It plays on the exposed brick/mortar feel you get all over Benson and is just beautiful aesthetically. I love the giant wax towers throughout the restaurant from hundreds of melted candles all slowly dying. Sadly, my girlfriend won't allow me to do the same around the houseWe did arrive a bit early for our reservation, and were informed that things were running a little behind. No worries, we hit the bar and ordered some drinks. Our drinks at the bar were actually comped, and we were given several glasses of sparkling wine without us breathing a word of complaint. Customer service top notch guys, keep it up. Even without the free drinks we would have no qualms, it's Valentine's, you're slammed, perfectly understandable.Once we were seated, the courses started rolling out. The majority of the dishes and drinks were explain to us, but again, busy night, no worries. I could only assume on a normal business night you get that much better of service and explanations with your food. Now, to the food itself! I've posted the menu for those curious on what it was we ate. I will say the star of the show in my opinion was the pork sugo gnocchi. The gnocchi was flawless, and the pork sugo was richz flavorful, and absolutely delightful. The dessert "dippin dots" were fun and delicious, and I wish I could have left with a stack of the little nougat bites that came out with the bill.Did I mention the Chovys Egg? Good lord, can I get three or four next time? One of the top spots in Omaha, without a doubt. Thanks for a great dinner!

My favorite restaurant anywhere. Tasting menu is highly recommended! The flavors are balanced and interesting, and each course feels well-thought out and placed with the others. Service was outstanding--plates were well-timed and pacing was awesome.
