This is my favourite Mediterranean restaurant in the Omaha area. The ambiance of the restaurant takes you back to a time where things were a little less complicated. The food is outstanding along with the service. The owners are friendly people and will take time out to talk to you.I highly suggest that you get the mint tea, it is the best in the area I think. The gyro combo and falafel platter was wonderful. The baklava is made Lebanese style so it is not as crumbly. The flavour is out of this world. You can even smoke a hookah there if you so choose to. They have a wide variety of drinks and beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic and some imports.

My family and I stopped in one evening for dinner and we were in for quite a treat. We were barely able to get a seat to eat because all tables inside and outside were full. This situation was definitely and indication for the quality of food we experienced. We started with lentil soup before moving into our mezzes and main chicken and lamb grills. Everything was good and as authentic as it could be for this restaurant in the US. I will definitely be returning over and over again and so should you!

Repeat customer. Always good. I get the beef shawarma. Reminds me of shawarma on the pier in Jebl Ali on Navy deployments. But these are so much better. Not a fan of the potato salad so just get the combo with fries vs the plate.

Rude. We were ignored for 10 minutes and eventually got up and left. We ended up at Cateus Pita Arabian Grill and the service was a breath of fresh air. The food there was equally good.

I ordered falafel with rice and my falafel was burnt on the bottom. I took it back to restaurant and the manager comes out I tell him my falafel is burnt and he decides to argue with me that its suppose to be hard, I'm like sir no its not suppose to be hard to the point its burnt. I've had falafel plenty of times and its always crispy but not burnt on the bottom. I ended up ordering chicken shawarma and honestly that sucked too. Their food is just bland period, not enough seasons which I'm use to but maybe thats because I lived in NY for many years and am use to a plethora of authentic mediterranean restaurants

Don’t answer the phone. They are closed at 6:50pm not 7:30!!! Ridiculous!!!

Wow... THIS WAS GOOD!!!!!My significant other ordered the steak shawarma wrap and l ordered the chicken shawarma wrap combo (which is just an added fry and drink) we literally came 5 minutes before they closed (they're open from 11am-7:30pm) and got to order just in time. We talked about coming to this place for a while so it was now or never and I'm so glad we did. This will definitely be a place we visit very often.the food was fresh and cooked to perfection, the taste was such a pleasant surprise and nothing like I've ever had before (you know my fat self was excited about that) Customer service wasn't that great BUT it was at the very end of their nights at work and they may have just been ready to go so we understood. Not to mention they have a neat little patio area and also have HOOKA!!!! I definitely 10/10 recommend this place!!

This was our first visit to El Basha. We weren't sure whether to seat ourselves or how to order food. The female employee at the bar wasn't very helpful, but we figured out that you seat yourself and place your order at the front desk. Once we received our order number and glasses we found that several of the fountain drinks were out of syrup or out of order. Thankfully, despite our thoughts of leaving we were presented with a salad that came with our meal. It was delicious. Everything was fresh and we really enjoyed the flavor of the dressing. Next, we received our Mezze platter and again everything was fresh and delicious. We also ordered a beef kabob and chicken kabob. Both came with the meat choice and grilled tomatoes, onions, zucchini, and summer squash. The meat and vegetables were perfectly grilled. We couldn't stop eating as everything was so delicious. The service definitely could be improved, but we are so glad that we gave El Basha a try. We highly recommend it.
